"Speaking as a decades long resident within two blocks of this Gristedes, previous to this past year, one star would have been generous. It’s now immaculate, stocked with fresh produce, items dated well ahead of expiration dates and helpful and friendly employees. If too heavy for me carry, there’s usually someone immediately available to accompany me home with my purchases. A place to avoid has become an appreciated asset to the neighborhood."

"I don’t usually look at prices when buying groceries. At this store that turned out to be a mistake. My bill totaled $100 for a small number of products for which I didn’t even need a bag. They charged me $9.99 for 1l (34oz) of orange juice, are you kidding me?? I can get better quality products at Whole Foods for half the price, and that will even include delivery! This grocery store shouldn’t even exist. Let’s hope they go out of business and we can get a decent alternative at this location."
