"Florentine Cookies Purchased from Bakery January 2024.I called initially called the bakery to inquire about their Florentine cookies to inquire if they had to dispose of them due to the fact that these type of cookies were under scrutiny for having peanuts in eat which caused the death of a dancer in the NYC. The employees at the bakery barely could articulate and said they never heard of anything or didn’t know anything! Now even if you never heard of the story which was front page; you should know if the bakery that you work in had to dispose and cookies because of this incident even though the bad cookies were not sold at any WholeFood store but they are the same type of cookies and I didn’t know if they get them from the same place. My call was sent to customer service; they didn’t know anything; I was put on hold no one answered the call and then the call was dropped! Unreal!!"
"Worst customer service! I was looking to make an Amazon return at this location and after looking on the website I saw that they had the self service kiosk even after the Amazon customer service was closed at 7pm. I go to the whole food customer service and was blatantly ignored by two employees having the most important conversation of their lives. I stand there waiting until one of them decides to do their job. Finally a nice lady sees that I’m being ignored and tells me where to go. Look I give people the benefit of the doubt and am always patient because I work in customer service and completely understand, but this was completely unacceptable."
"I tried their chocolate topped coconut macaroon (from a display 15 seconds from the entrance), seen in the fourth photo from the left, which I found to be delicious. I tried their dark chocolate almond lace cooky (seen in second photo from the left), which I also found to be delicious. Their caramel jelly cookie was enjoyable (seen in the third photo from the left.) I also tried their original peanut butter cookie bite (seen in the first photo). It had little flavor other than that of dark chocolate, which made it a disappointment. I tried their rainbow cookie (pictured) which I found to have a unique pleasing flavor. I tried their pecan pie cookie (last photo) which I liked. My next to the last photo shows a display of cookies to choose from, which is what they call the "cookie bar." Occasionally, they change the selection of cookies to choose from, especially seasonally. Their shortbread chocolate chip cookie was good. I did not like their peanut butter/chocolate chip cookie. The peanut butter flavor was difficult to taste and the chocolate chips were not among the best that I have ever tasted."
"The meat department is my favorite part of this Whole Foods. Meat is always fresh, has nice cuts, and with acceptable prices. I really don’t like that some bread is not packed. I stopped buying it since I noticed a few times that some customers were touching bread with their hands, or taking and returning it without using gloves or paper tissues. I hope management will figure out how to prevent it. Overall it’s a nice market and I enjoy shopping here, except the huge checkout lanes."
"There is a wide selection of ready to eat and shelf stable items. While the dining area appears to be clean, the florescent lighting makes it feel like an emergency waiting room. For non shelf stable (refrigerated section) soups or juice, it would be great to see more ethnic labels, such as those produced by the minority with their own cultural influence. The lineup can be a pain during the afternoon rush hours. But it's expected."
