"Crazy expensive! 88$ for a small bag of breakfast stuff.."
"Recently purchased dates from this market, were moldy and full of worms. When reported to the market employees and managers they were extremely rude, impolite and didn’t acknowledge our complaint."
"Always friendly service..often new interesting. Healthy foods are sold. You can also order them"
"This supermarket is always clean and will always have what you’re looking for most likely,But I will be reporting this supermarket . This Christine is location located on 18th St., and eighth Avenue only caters to the rich and wealthy by purposely doubling and overcharging for its products . while hiring mostly African Americans and paying the minimum wage for years even decades, this has been going on Gristedes needs to be stopped. Gristedes has been doubling the prices on everything especially food for decades. For example, I am a vegan. They have a nice vegan selection.but The impossible beef goes for six or seven dollars in Trader Joe’s or online . Here It goes for about $15. I wanted to buy a box of oatmeal for my daughter by Quakers maple packages, and the box of oatmeal was $11 . To make matters worse they don’t have price an compare pricing. I don’t think it’s fair that Gristedes chooses to overcharge It’s Customer’s while especially at a time where the economy is at its worse .they need to be stopped,!!!!! Whoever The owner of this establishment is greedy a selfish , and obviously coldhearted. I will be reporting Gristedes supermarket to the Better Business Bureau and 311 in hopes for a change in my Chelsea neighborhood. I hope whoever should read this follows up and do does the same. I will be calling and reporting them for overcharging on food, and all other products I took several pictures of overprice food and other products it’s ridiculous. They need a one star from me and we got two stars because the food was. Extremely fresh."
"Bought Milton Harris' favorite, simply organic Tostitos Blue Corn tortilla chips with sea salt; grapes not as dark as the ones David Harbans tried to sell me; milk, which I poured in my coffee watching tv in Joe Friedman's room; yoghurt, I want to have my son, Air Force One, Airplane Pilot, Captain Devan Gangadean, who does Power Yoga. They call him, the yogi pilot."
