"A female middle aged worker named Adrian I believe that was her name.. she was rude with her associates, because they asked her to check a price and possibly override my total cost. On the fridge there was a green sticker for that specific product on sale that I wanted to buy. She proceeds to get the weekly paper and get upset with me I guess because I inconvenienced her. I told her if it’s too much trouble we can just drop it I’m not trying to make the day difficult for anyone. In the end she did discount me the product because I was right. And she leaves and then proceeds to talk to her employees with a nasty attitude. But ShopRite ain’t gonna do nothing about this"

"Love the digital coupons but when none of your self checkout handgun scanners work and the machine scanner won't scan your savings card, it's kind of hard to use the savings! Then your self checkout host doesn't want to help only makes it more frustrating!"

"Poor customer service. Wanted to do a price check on a certain item and I saw the price checker screen mounting on a post and attempted to do a price check by placing the barcode of the product underneath the scanner. When I place the barcode of the product under the scanner nothing happened. There was a store clerk in the next aisle, who look like she was changing the prices of certain items on the shelf. So I asked her if she could come take a look at the price checker, and instead of doing so, she told me that if the price checker wasn't working, I should go and use the price checker adjacent to the customer service desk. When I went to do that, I found that that price checker wasn't working either. I was scanning the barcode of the product underneath the scanner and nothing happened. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. At that point, I felt like just leaving my shopping cart there, and leaving the store. However, I really did not want to do that, so I went to a cashier who didn't have any customers, can I asked him to do a price check for me. Thankfully he did. Another complaint I had was that I couldn't find another product I was looking for, which was body powder. So I go to the customer service desk, and there's a guy there not doing anything, so I address him by saying "hello". He does not respond; I wasn't too surprised. Anyway, so I ask him what aisle can I find body powder. And he says "body powder"?, as if he never heard of it. So another associate walks up, and he asks her where I might be able to find body powder. They both giggle, and she finally says for me to check either aisle five or six. So I end up finding it. But to not say hello when a customer greets you, and to act like you never heard of body powder, I just don't get it. So, overall in my view, this store has poor customer service. The time of this visit was approximately 9:00 p.m., so hopefully the store manager on duty at that time will see this review. I've been to this ShopRite before and never had a problem. I don't live in the area, but when I am in the area and am in need of some items, I stop there."

"Amazing butcher department. Was looking for hanger steaks but didn’t see on the shelves so I asked and ye shall receive! Not only did I get excellent service the butcher went above and beyond, trimmed the meat to perfection for me which a lot of butchers don’t do anymore. Service that illustrates no matter what the job is, do it the best! They have almost every cut of beef (from tail to tongue). Clean, excellent prices and friendly-neighborhood feel butcher service!"

"2 starer, I had Bowl & Basket chicken other day. And as soon as I opened the leg quarters packet it was kind of a pungent smell like some sort of gas smell or methanol smell. Without trying I trashed it. Opened the drumstick packet, luckily this one wasn't having that smell. Although I cooked and eat. But never gonna buy from Bowl and Basket."
