"Management needs to be fired. From the very top. They're very inconsiderate. Specially Craig, the store manager. Especially when he gets on his emotional phase. He needs to be educated on how to treat his hard working employees."
"My mother sister and I Were leaving the store when a Woman Stopped us but she was working there She asked for our receipt because she said We probably Robbed 2 sodas and Paper towels (what we had was: 24 cans of Coca-Cola, 14 cans of Inka cola and Paper towels) So My mom was trying to find the receipt But we realized we didn't get it and the Self check out Machine didn't print it out So what the worker lady said Are you trying to rob us We replied with “No were Not Were just trying to go on with our day.” She kept yelling I needed to see a receipt or that she’d call the cops My mother got mad and told her “You can't just accuse us of robbing” They started arguing Until the Worker who “is” The Manager Said her side of the story She told us she saw us in the self check out and Then saw our shopping cart With the boxes of sodas But then apparently she didn't see us Pay and Thought we just left. The thing is my mother paid with her card So she had The PNC App to see what she had spent she opened the app and showed the lady And still made a scene in public making people look at us and stare thinking we robbed the place. (also she followed my mom after she paid ) What I want is for the lady Who accused us of robbing the store to ask politely, if we did or did not Pay for our groceries I want her to also know for sure and not accuse someone of robbing Without any attitude. But I think she might be telling the truth about the Man manager thing either way she can’t act like that to her customers."
"EXPENSIVE. I don't understand why the store in Paterson; which has a large population of low income households is more expensive than the one in Clifton and elsewhere. How do you charge the poor more than the middle class? I'm not imagining the difference I've checked a few different items that were more expensive in my Paterson store than elsewhere. I don't have transportation or I would go to the other stores or somewhere else all together. I cringe every time I'm checking out because I know the total is going to be more than I expected. On price alone I would give one or no stars. The store itself is in a convenient spot and is always clean and produce is fresh. For that alone I gave stars. The other issue I have is lack of variety of items I buy or am looking to buy. Overall I think my rating is fair."
"Store is very convenient for me and my wife. We are only a few blocks away so we can walk there and not worry about parking."
"I honestly have to say that the Price Rite in downtown Paterson is truly a gem. The entire store is filled with a variety of products and the whole store is well kept together. The workers are nice and environment is even better."
