Reviews of Frednes International Market African Food
"Very rude and nasty attitude of the short lady, I will never go none recommend this place for any one, always insultive, angry and ready to fight her customers over none issues."
"Very affordable prices ... variety of food . A store where you can find what you need"
"You can get a lot of African provisions, especially Cameroonian, to cook a good meal as if you were back home."
"It was a pretty cool store to shop at a time until sometime November 2021 when I went shopping together with my hubby next I heard was a loud commotion I went to see what was happening & noticed a light skinned lady & her daughter being ganged up against by the lady that own the store who is also very rude by the way! Shes mean to her customers & lies alot about products! Long story short, I think what happened that day was the lady that was carrying a young baby was one of their regular customers that was always shopping & spending her hard earned money there. According to the lady as she was forced to explain what could've been between her & the store owner only to the entire store. She said she mistakenly bought the wrong palm oil & as soon as she noticed it wasn't the type she normally uses for cooking she called the store & they told her to bring it, so she brought it that day however eventhough, the owners hubby was trying to be professional as he always is for sure, the extremely ignorant of a wife jumped in & said NO & called a lady that was shopping her own at the store that said she works for the CDC to come explain to the woman with the baby girl, meanwhile the woman with the baby girl is also A registered nurse to start with I know that for the fact because I use to work together with her before she had her baby she was my boss at work! She is the sweetest human you can ever asked for a peoples person & shes kind hearted and loved for all. The store owner humiliated her & her child in public like she sole SOMTHING. The lady that said she was from the CDC was ready to fight her while she was carrying her child it was crazy that day my hubby was very upset ! I cried for her as a walked back to my car she was so disgusted & highly disappointed by what she went through! Her baby was dramatized by the whole thing! They wanted her to stay quite while the store owner abuse her & her little baby for supporting a local business and we didn't see nor hear them apologize to this lady but noticed them rather apologizing to the very disrespectful fake CDC lady who looks like she was in her late 60's or even older but acted like a 15yr old would! These store won't last long because the owner attitude towards her customers are terrible! Because of a $25 palm oil they didn't care losing a regular customer! They would've just take they oil back & call it a day! how selfish! Me personally I will never step my foot there ever again! They're heartless I pray they get the same thing they did to that lady & her daughter that day! Wicked set of humans!"
"The place is nice the lady was nice also the warehouse guy was nice. My only issue is the shea butter you have to scoop is at the entrance and you have to weigh it at the register. Its inconvenient especially if you came to spend a specific amount on it. You have to walk to the front where the register is located. They should have a weigh station next to it so customers can know how much they are spending. (Constructive Criticism). Also there should be signs to lead you to market/register."
