"I am leaving a poor review because of my last two visits. I’ve been going to Tao for almost a year and they used to have really good service and my nails would last for a while. However this changed entirely these past few months. In December, I got a gel manicure and it chipped the following day. I then received attitude because they were too busy to fix my nails at the time. I went to the salon yesterday and my nail broke today. They wanted me to pay a fee to fix it. How do you charge someone for your error?"

"Here visiting from Colorado, and these women were so kind! Rachel made sure to get me in the same day. I got a full gel extension set with a magnet french tip. The woman who worked on them was extremely attentive and took the extra time to make sure everything looked even. They had complimentary tea and coffee and little snacks as well. Great environment, clean and professional. I had an amazing time and wish they had a Colorado location!"

"Ever since I found Tao Nail Salon, I’ve been a loyal customer and never looked at another nail salon. They deliver exceptional results every time I’m there, and my nails barely lift after 4 weeks of having gel on. I am very indecisive when it comes to what colors I want, but everyone’s been super accommodating and testing colors out until I find one I like! Special thanks for Rachel for accommodating last minute and far out future reservations, and this helps me a lot since my work hours are extremely long. Today, I got my nails done by Josie, and she took her time and even went over 30 minutes past closing to finish up my nails. Not once did they rush me, and I generally book later times due to my work hours. I really appreciate Tao Nail Salon, and I highly recommend them for simple to complex nail designs :)"

"I’ve been looking for a new nail salon in the East Village and I was so pleased with my first experience at Tao Nail Studio! They have a relaxing and soothing environment. Helen did an excellent and extremely thorough job on my nails. Rachel was very kind and sent me home with a sample of their cuticle oil. My gel nail extensions are going on week 3 (in photo) with no signs of peeling or breaking. Over all wonderful experience and worth the price. I will be back soon!"
