Kings Food Markets

"I have been shopping At Kings for years. I was too busy to cook and with a very special high level formal dinner planned. I thought Kings catering could help. Everything was almost inedible. It was horrible.. worst dinner I ever ate… poop quality beef… not prime..and doubtfully fresh.. was dry and tough. The string beans had an awful taste. The hor doevres were not acceptable at all.. nobody liked them. The food was absolutely terrible! I was totally embarrassed.. horrified as my guests struggled to be polite. Never again!!!!"

"The very short black lady in the front carries a rude demeanor and negative energy for customers and can even be seen being rude and bringing down her fellow employees. There should be no need to have negative or rude energy in the store especially when working in the front end. This only makes the store look bad for having a rude employee represent them. Get better employees."

"Cheese lady seemed unknowledgeable towards me regarding products and seemed to want to feel dominant and in control. I like to feel free and comfortable and assisted when purchasing just like everyone else. This happened today 11/12/2023 at around 2:30p.m no one should feel so free and protected to disrespect and injustice me or anyone for that matter. Don't let it happen again."

"I have a plant based diet and like to cook from scratch, so I think this is not the place for me… Tiny produce department & the prices on produce are way too high to buy any more than just a couple pieces of fruit or vegetables. I need to make full meals from produce. Occasionally I’ve picked up items-on-the go from the prepared foods selections, and the taste was good, so I was thinking it might be nice to have my holiday table catered by this particular Kings... then yesterday I went there and noticed there’s huge rodent traps surrounding the building. If you know the behavior of rodents, especially mice, you know they get into everything in a kitchen. The thought is really off-putting for a place that does lots of prepared food & catering, but I guess if they do have a rodent issue I’m glad that they ARE doing something vs. brushing it under the rug? I don’t know, it just really made me think twice."

"Produce department is much smaller than it used to be, and the prices are back to being really high after coming down for a while. $5 for a gallon of milk, $25 for a pack of cat food I buy for $16-20 elsewhere? I understand that everything in the supply chain is rough right now and that everything costs more, but these prices are way higher than anywhere else. Store otherwise is fine, but not too special."
