"Being older than I like to be I actually REMEMBER the “good old days”, before Home Depot & Lowe’s. This place is somewhat organized, and for its size they actually carry a very nice variety, I can only remember one time I could not find what I went there for. They have awesome hours for a mom and pop and it actually gives you time to stop at after work if you need to grab something. I believe the owners are at the register most the time and always friendly, him a lot more than her, it still friendly. It’s sad because in this land of GIANTS this is a tiny tiny dinosaur soon to be extinct like the rest. We’ll let me say this before there gone, KUDOS to these owners for fighting the fight!!! I would give 5 stars, but I’m trying to rate the store and not the changing times and gentrification it’s battling in the background."

"I’ve been here a couple of times and the customer service has been not great. I was told they could match my paint, but when I painted the finish was different so it clashed. Basically if the brand of paint is different even though it’s the same color and type it will look different on your walls, don’t let them tell you otherwise, they will lie to you to get the sale. Lesson learned. When I went back to let them know the paint didn’t match the worker showed no concern and didn’t even apologize."

"Been coming to this place for most of my life. Just had my lock replaced by their resident locksmith, Ali. He came and did what the building’s management couldn’t, very professional and done in a flash. Gave me a nice rate, too. Highly recommend him and Ovington in general."
