"I’ve gotten wood chips from here with no issues, but I am absolutely beside myself at the state of my once healthy and thriving plants that have stopped growing and turned yellow since planting in this soil. I filled two large garden beds with a combination of top soil and compost from this place and also have many planters which still had soil from last year. Everything that was put into last years soil is growing fine and beginning to flower/fruit. The plants that were put into the grow beds, which were all seedlings from the same trays and growing at the same rate previously, have completely stunted and no longer look green and healthy. I spent hundreds of dollars on my garden this year and put in countless hours of work. When I purchased the soil/compost I asked if it would need any amendments prior to planting, which I was assured it would not. I was told the soil is tested at Rutgers for proper nutrient balance as well as PH. This cannot be true because all of my plants put in other soil are thriving while both of my large grow beds filled with soil from this place are barely holding on. I ordered a soil testing kit to confirm what I believe is a nitrate deficiency, so once that arrives and I have the results I will begin to attempt to amend and hope that I am able to save my plants. If you need gravel or wood chips then this place is fine but I strongly do not recommend their soil or compost. I’m so sad and disappointed."

"Ordered 8 yards compost and it’s full of trash, nails and even found some rebar. This is what we found so far without even sifting. This is very disappointing since I had a great experience last year ordering the same product. Last year it was great soil/compost. This year it might not be usable."
