"It’s such a delight to have a friendly and helpful old-time downtown hardware store here in Ramsey. If you haven’t yet visited, may I strongly encourage you to do so. Mark, Pete and the crew are so approachable, down to earth and knowledgeable. There are no “dumb questions”, it’s a “safe space” in that they are patient and have a kind twinkle in their eyes to help advise or find that tool or product that you forgot the name of, and can only describe. Recently, I’ve brought some old table lamps in for rewiring to modern safety standards (!), and the work was wonderful. Did I mention they also fix stuff ? After your first visit, you’ll be family, and finding reasons to stop by. I love picking up that item on my shopping list, and then wandering the aisles for my entertainment, always finding additional things that “I didn’t realize I needed” !"
