"I ordered take out from this place at least once a week. It is a hit or miss. The other day, my co-workers and I decided to dine in for lunch. I ordered K5 Sichuan Fried Fish. It is so amazing. Not sure if food quality is better with dining in as compared to take out. After few days, I ordered K5 Sichuan chicken for take out. It was a thumbs down. Does this mean I need to dine in for better food quality? Inquiring minds would like to know. For take out, these are some recommended dishes: - J19 Sauteed Pig's intestines with Hot Chili (Top favorite) - C5 Chongqing Fried chicken - C6 Fried Filler Fish with Spicy Sauce - J4 Sauteed Beef with Pickled Pepper ( I like but hubby does not like it) Average: - H6: Fried Fillet Fish with Lychee Sauce - H5: Braised Pork in Mao's Style Need seasoning: - Z3 spare ribs with Taro - J16 Pork with bean curd I still have a lot of dishes to try.. will keep updating this post"

"I must say: this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve had in a while. I’ve had Chinese food my whole life and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. The service was attentive and there’s even a pianist playing live in the background. Every dish I’ve had here has been phenomenal. I would recommend against take-out, as the dine-in experience is best. Price are a bit steep for this type of cuisine, but worth it regardless. Highly recommend, especially if you love spicy food as the majority of the menu is spicy (hunan and sichuan)."

"A lovely Chinese restaurant located in Jersey City. I've been there twice, once with some work colleagues and then with my wife. I'm both of the visits, the food was great, with a generous size. We've had dumplings, scallion fried rice, vegetarian beans and the fried chicken - all of them were delicious. Service could be a bit better - no one was asking about our experience - but still a great place."

"The interior of the restaurant was so welcoming along with the live music! We were seated right away and I was so overwhelmed with the huge selection of items. My favorite part about the menu was even though it was so overwhelming, there were pictures included to help narrow down what catches your eye. We started off with the pork belly with garlic sauce and it was so tasty. I am still craving it right now! The freshness of the cucumber just pairs so well with the pork belly. We also ordered mapo tofu and scallion dish with chicken because they’re my top go-to comfort foods. It was delicious with the chef tan styled fried rice we ordered. The dish came in style. It didn’t just look good, it also tasted good. Lastly, we got the monoglian beef and it was so delicious. I prefer sweet meat over savory and this hit the spot. It wasn’t overly sweet, but just the right amount. I’d definitely recommend trying Chef Tan! It’s a 2-3 minute walk from Newport PATH station and Newport centre is a short walk as well."
