"i’m really sorry to have to give this feedback. I ordered a simple, wonton soup. It had no flavor the meat inside. The wontons was horrible. I ordered dim sum. The meat inside. The dim sum was horrible. It had a sweet taste to it not like any other dim sum I’ve ever eaten, I ordered shrimp fried rice. The shrimp were overcooked and the rice was dried out. I also ordered roast pork egg, foo young it was moist. It lacked in flavor as well. The gravy for the egg foo young was OK. This is the first time I’ve eaten there, and I would not eat there again ."
"They don't realize some people can understand some of things they say. And if you hear what they laugh about talking about some of the customers you wouldn't eat there. They are apart of some of the rudest people Ive met since Ive moved here last week. And the will have some of the most disgusting things to say under there breathe.."
"Do not order from this place. I found a bug cooked in my food. I called the store and the lady told me to bring in the plate ( I guess she didn't believe me). I drove back to show her so she wouldn't think I was lying. She opens the plate, looks at it and says "sorry," opens the cash register, hands me my money back and moves on to the next customer like nothing ever happened. Very rude. I will never go back to this disgusting place."
"Requested Hunan chicken. Waited 40 mins to take home 2 minute uncooked food. What is wrong with people! Vegetables not cooked and chicken gooey. So done. Brocolli raw, carrots hard etc"
"I have tried a great deal of Chinese food restaurants in NJ and NY and I am very disappointed in the overall quality of them all. Chinatown Gourmet Kitchen is no different. The food is tasteless, over salted over sauced, burnt at times and overall a sub par dinning experience. That being said, the restaurant was clean and the staff was nice and very fast with the food prep. Overall it's no different than any other Chinese food restaurants in the area and I'm sure at this point everyones expectations are lowered. So if your in the mood for some greasy and poorly made Chinese food, pick your closest place and enjoy. It your in the mood for Asian style food that is actually cooked well and tastier I would find my local Thai restaurant and have a good meal at the same price point."
