Reviews of Diamond Pretty Nails
"Walked in to get a pedicure, 1st time here. Place is clean and nail techs wear white lab coats. Everyone seemed nice but my nail tech was obviously in a rush. It was the fastest pedicure I ever received, (equivalent to an express service), and that's not a compliment. She never asked what shape I prefered, gave less than a 10 sec scrub per foot, and provided no foot massage. I didn't notice how sloppy the polish application was until I checked my toes to see if they were dry. I had to ask for the nail polish back because there were thin, spotty areas on three of the toes. Then I had to ask for nail polish remover to clean up around the toes. She fixed some of it, and I decided to do the rest on my own when I got home. There was polish everywhere, and I'm upset that I tipped before I saw her haphazard work. Too many nail shops in the area to settle for sloppy work."
"The nail salon looks a bit ghetto but the ladies there are very talented. Plus, you will always be pleased with the outcome of your nail shape and design. The aim to please !"
"I’ve been looking for a new nail salon for a while now, so when a colleague and neighbor gave me two independent recommendations for Tina at Diamond nails, I decided to give them a try. The first time I went they were crowded, so I went back the following day. When I walked in, I requested Tina and proceeded to wait two hours to be injured. When I finally got into the chair, she was a bit unfriendly. That should have been my first clue to leave immediately. I told her I wanted a gel pedicure. She began the service and was rough. While she was cutting my cuticles she cut my big toe. I jumped and said “Oww”. She paused briefly and slowed down a bit and was less rough. The gel polish she applied looked like it was done by my 3 year old niece. I knew I was not going to return. Within two weeks of the service, my left big toe began to hurt and swell. I went to a podiatrist yesterday where I was diagnosed with an infection and put on 10 days of antibiotics. I have to return next week as the podiatrist will have to remove the mail on my big toe to see how far down the infection went. I returned to the nail salon today. I showed the manager what happened. She said that Tina did not cut me, my toe could have been infected by any other means and what did I want for them to do? I asked them what were they prepared to do. She offered me $25 dollar for my trouble. Do yourself a favor: avoid this salon at all costs. They just might lose a body part due to their unsanitary practices."
"The service was nice but it’s extremely expensive. Lady who did my nails was friendly and did both manicure and pedicure. I did gel for pedi and dip (no acrylic fake nail) and the service with a simple design was $180 with tax since I used card. make sure you ask before getting service to see how much it costs. This was a nice treat but I felt very high.."
"I went to this salon for the first time yesterday to try it out, and the paint is already lifting off my nail the next day. Water was able to get under the paint and is now trapped under my nail. The only thing I can say is that the shaping is good. Other than that, I won’t be coming here again."
