"Unsanitary, unprofessional the woman who sits by the second table on the left side she has really stinky attitude I don’t know what’s her issue , I wanted hard gel she got mad and started to give me attitude saying oh you should have said that before u sat in my chair because that takes long time going back and forth with me , so I didn’t wanna deal with her and told her just do regular gel . She used same instruments she used on previous client it was full of dust also."

"I've been going to Mint Nails since moving to Staten Island in 2001. I've tried quite a few other salons just to see what else is out there and have found none other to be as welcoming, clean and provide the same quality service. There's a lot of camaraderie in the shop. I also appreciate that they don't push other services on you. It's a busy salon so a wait should be expected without an appointment. They have a LOT of color options. While it would be nice if they had a couple of artistically inclined technicians who offered more of the trendy nail options you see on pop stars or on Instagram, but for quality gel, powder, acrylic & regular services with simple designs, they've got it covered. Their pedicure crew give great pedicures and the pedi-chairs are comfortable with great massage settings! I recently moved from the neighborhood, tried a few local salons for convenience purposes, but now drive back to Mint Nails because none other has compared."

"Highly recommend for dip nail powder manicure. They have a HUGE selection of colors and are very thorough with the application process. I’ve had this service done with several different techs and have been really pleased with the longevity of the manicure each time! Easy to communicate my preferences on shape/length too; I’ve never had any issues with uneven filing which sometimes happens when I’ve tried other salons."
