Eden nails

"My sister and I went here for the first time on Wednesday afternoon to get our nails done for our brother’s wedding, which was on Friday evening. The experience itself was lovely, the salon was clean, and my regular polish pedicure held up to my 4-inch peep toe heels and a night of dancing wonderfully, so I did give Eden two stars; however, my sister and I both had a few chips to our gel manicures by Wednesday evening after leaving the salon. We initially felt it was just coincidental, but it quickly got worse from there. By Thursday morning when I took a shower, my hair was catching under the gel where it had started to lift up around my cuticles, and the gel had begun to crack/tear into pieces along the edges where it was coming up. By Thursday evening at the wedding rehearsal, I had lost several large chunks of the gel manicure on various fingers due to the polish completely lifting from my nails. My manicure was a complete disaster for the wedding on Friday evening, and all the polish had fallen off (yes, fallen off!) by the time our family breakfast ended Saturday morning. Several nails popped off as whole pieces of gel! I’m not sure what the problem was, but am wondering if it could be old gel being used or technician inexperience…in trying to think back to what could have caused this, I noted that other salons I’ve gone to don’t use cuticle oil until after the gel application and curing process, and this place used it prior to polishing (maybe this could be part of the reason the gel was lifting starting at the cuticles? At another salon I go to frequently, the technician thought I was getting a regular mani and applied it, and then panicked and had me thoroughly scrub my hands and nail beds before continuing with gel). I wish I would have gone to my regular salon so my nails would have been beautiful for my brother’s wedding. I am used to gel manicures lasting 2+ weeks and needing to soak it off, not having gel fall apart on its own in less than three days. I’m so disappointed."

"I went to Eden nails about a month ago and it has been a long journey finding a good nail salon where they do what you ask for. I called and made an appointment. They were so nice over the phone so I had made an appointment with yo-yo to do my nails, and she is absolutely amazing. She did exactly what I asked her to do and on top of that she is one of the nicest women I have ever met, then my pedicure was even just as amazing. Maria did it and she did such a great job. When you go there, you don’t feel uncomfortable at all it’s almost like you know them forever where, in other salons, you know they’re talking about you they do not do that. I was so happy and above all else the price of everything is perfect. Everyone in this salon is so kind and so helpful. I couldn’t help but share this review. If you are looking for an amazing nail place, great people and great prices. This is a place to go."

"My daughter and I have been frequenting for years. Love the staff, love the services, and always happy with my manicures, gel color manicures, and pedicures. I am the “rude” customer Amanda speaks of in her review. I had to interject because she treated the technician very poorly, had no appointment and was still taken, and was not forthcoming or honest with the owner. She was rude and rushed from the minute she arrived. She was in and out in 59 minutes (not over the hour and twenty minutes she speaks of in her review). No where near the amount of time needed for a full set which my daughter gets frequently and they always look great! Please disregard her review as she is not an honest person. I am attaching a picture of my daughter’s nails, done the same day, now 1 week in. They look great when the technician is allowed to do her job!"

"Hands down the worst nail experience of my life. I went in and made it clear I was on a bit of a tight time and needed a full set. I waited the twenty to thirty minutes and then had an incredibly slow set which was concerning me. An hour in we still weren’t even filing. Literally one hour and twenty minutes we had not done the nail drill, the tops of the nails, nothing was even, they looked awful. I communicated to the nail tech three times it didn’t have to be perfect but I was starting to get concerned about time to paint them. She continued to file the sides of the nails which is all that had been done in now 80 min. By the third time, I let her know I just really needed time to get them painted/gel. She then grabs the gel and slabs a layer on, no primer no top coat, no multiple layers, no UV just one sloppy sticky layer of gel and an attitude. I said can I please have the tops of the nails even or a primer. Finally I had run out of time & tried to just pay. In which the owner started basically yelling at me that it was my fault I was in a rush and she had cameras. I don’t think it’s unreasonable after 1.5 hours to be past filing the sides. (Not even the tops). She said she could do them over which clearly I had no time and when I tried to communicate that and just pay, a rude customer decided to interject and yell at me despite having nothing to do with it and not knowing what happened. Never ever ever again. I’m coming from the South where virtually everything is slower and takes hours - this is was deplorable - my gel is still wet and sticking to everything"
