Reviews of Angel Tips
"I went to this salon December 28th 2023. My names came out nice, but as I was going to bed the gel nail polish on my pinky toe peeled right off the same day I got them done! Not only did the nail polish come off but I was told I had to give a 20% tip when I tried to give an 18% tip like I saw an example of on the receipt. When checking my account a couple of days later I now see that they took out more than I tipped them. My total was 103 and 124 was taken from my account when I tipped 18, I know it’s just a couple of dollars but this is very disappointing. This used to be my go to nail salon, but now I will no longer be coming back. The whole experience was unprofessional…"
"I went in for a gel pedicure plus I needed an acrylic toenail. My nail tech did not know how to lay the acrylic so someone else laid it but left the nail tech to file and shape it. The nail turned out really thick and mis shaped than my other toenails . When asked to fix it the nail tech acted as though she was incapable since the paint was on. I was unhappy with the service so I decided to just pay leave. After paying I was walking towards the door and the nail tech asked for a tip. I told her no tip because my nail was not how I wanted. I think that it is rude and tacky to ask for a tip especially if the service is not to satisfactory."
"old man doing my nails hqd an attitude. Why are you asking me if I want to pay mid way through my manicure? And then asking for tip , on the card, when there is a sign behind me that says tip in cash? Cheaper than most places but service and time is 50% of what you would pay elsewhere. Also the woman next to me was getting charged extra after they removed her dip nails said she will have to pay 10$ to remove..:"
"I have been going to this salon for almost 2 years. There are some nail techs there that are great but others who aren't. I use to bring my mother with me but she said she didn't like how her nails came out so she stopped tagging along. I have to agree with her. My last few experiences have been bad as well. I got a gel manicure on Friday. I'm posting this on Sunday and my gel manicure has already chipped badly! This isn't the 1st time this happened. The last few times they kept giving me this new nail tech who is slightly older. She did my brown french tip design and it was crooked. I told her it was crooked and she said no it's good. Whatever. I went again a few weeks later.. on Friday and I got the same lady. The other two guys were just sitting around doing nothing. The one other lady tech was on the phone. Of course, the one nail tech who is great Sally. She was booked. They stuck me with the older woman who clearly doesn't know how to do nails AGAIN. I originally wanted to get a design but I knew she would mess it up. So, I settled on a regular gel manicure. No design. I figured she can't mess this up. It was lumpy. The nails didn't look smooth. Also, it chipped in less than 2 days!!! I'm done going there. It's sad because I was loyal customer but the service has been going down hill."
"This was my first time here and I was a little hesitant because of the reviews, but I’m glad I gave them a shot. I made an appointment, so maybe that makes a difference in the time/effort spent on my nails, but I’m definitely happy with my dip powder manicure and plan on coming back. Especially since they’re the only place in the area that isn’t charging $45+ for a dip powder manicure on natural nails. Just got my second dip manicure here and still very pleased!"
