"I was recommended by a friend to come here because I’m new in this area and I ended up loving it! The salon gave a good vibe and the nail techs were very welcoming and professional! Overall, it was a very pleasing experience and I’ll definitely be back. I got dip powder nails done and gel pedi and it turned out absolutely gorgeous. Thank you again!"

"Had gel manicure and pedicure done. Whole process was thorough and efficient, though a bit on the rougher side - especially with removing the dip from my nails and cleaning up the nail bed that caused a bit of bleeding. I understand this happens, but my nail technician wasn’t as personable as others from other nail salons and didn’t ask if I was hurt (or I know other salons that add something to wound). My nail tech was initially more attentive when helping me choose colors to match my nails and toe nails but then wasn’t as attentive (didn’t ask what nail shape I wanted til after, getting sidetracked by other conversations). This place had people coming and going, so clearly a popular spot. They have a wide variety of nail techs - one I appreciated, who was beside mine, who gave me a compliment when she observed my tattoos. Just be mindful of which techs you vibe with most!"

"I have been trying to find a new nail salon in Hoboken after trying many different places over the last 3 years. A friend recommended Nail Atelier and I am BEYOND impressed. I had my UV gels filled yesterday by Chloe, in preparation for my bachelorette this weekend. The receptionist was extremely kind and was able to schedule my appointment the same day. My appointment was on time, and Chloe was so friendly and extremely meticulous when filing, shaping and painting my nails. I chose the wrong color to put under chrome (sometimes chrome changes how the base color looks) and when I got home I realized I wanted a more white/neutral color for my bachelorette. They fit me in first thing today and filed down/changed the color gel. The receptionist was only going to charge me $30 even though the color change service took an hour, and it was my fault that I chose the wrong color. They did not get annoyed that I wanted a different color, and were very accommodating. Charlie changed my color today; he was so gentle and friendly. Both nail techs have been two of the best I have gone to, and I have been getting gel fills for years. The salon is the cleanest I have seen in Hoboken. Their prices are reasonable, and the staff is EXTREMELY friendly to their customers and each other. I have finally found my new favorite nail salon! Would recommend this salon to everyone in Hoboken. There are no nail salons that even come close to the high level of customer service and skill. Thank you, Nail Atelier, for putting your customers first and having an extremely friendly atmosphere. I will be scheduling all of my services here now. I can’t recommend this place more!!!"

"SUMMARY: place is just looking for money and charlie was dishonest and gave me an awful fill. Go anywhere else. I came here for years and then moved on (Nail bar on ninth is amazing!) because after Aimee left Sue became very rude. I had to go back on Friday because my normal place was booked up. Immediately when I got there Sue was being rude, but I expected that, and during my UV Gel Fill Charlie was rushing, changed my nail shape, and make me bleed a bit, but I didn’t complain. When he was taking off my bright blue gel he missed so many spots, so I asked if he was planning on fixing it. He said it was ok. He rushed through the fill and then when he started painting them you could clearly see the blue still. I said something and he said he couldn’t see it - literally the tip of one nail was completely blue. I asked the women next to me and she said yes of course she could see it. Then he said “I’m not taking off the fill” and I asked to speak to Sue given I said something earlier and this is an expensive manicure. He then said fine and made me point out where the blue was because “he couldn’t see”. He never redid the fill and rushed through redoing it so my manicure looks awful. He then asked me if I like chrome, I said I’ve done it before and a girl two chairs down let me know it’s $30 (!!!) and they did it to her and then told her the price after. I still tipped him but will never go back. This place has turned into such a money grabbing business, I can’t believe how much of a turn it’s taken. This picture shows my cuts from Charlie, but doesn’t show how uneven the nail polish is."

"Rude owners. Asked to have 2 nails fixed when they broke after 3 (!!!) days of getting a dip manicure here. They only did 2 coats of dip & did not file the sides down - so they snagged on clothing. My nails were long & healthy after getting dip for 5 months consistently. The owner yelled at me & claimed I needed to pay them to get them fixed, once I was inside the salon & in the chair, of course. So many other salons in JC/Hoboken without this headache & that are nicer to customers! Edit: 2 more nails have since cracked & broken after snagging on clothing."
