"This salon truly deserves recognition! I managed to secure a gel pedicure appointment on New Year's Day morning, a time when most other places were closed for the holiday. The salon might not be very flashy, but it's fully equipped and incredibly CLEAN – a standout quality I look for in salons! Every tool they used were single-use tools, which is not something you see often, and I really appreciated that. The pedicure chair wasn't just any chair; it was a full back massage chair, adding a wonderful touch to the experience. If you're looking for impeccable professionalism, request Kelly. She's from Shanghai and her work is of the highest Shanghai standards. This salon simply became my go to salon!"
"They do a good job for a reasonable price. I have two issues with them. 1. The pedicure fans on the wooden drying station are so weak that they are basically not detectable. Useless. ETA about the salon’s response: the fan was clearly on (the blue light was on, on the button). I tried moving my feet around a wide radius and still felt nothing. 2. HEADS UP: Kelly is very good! But she appears to be the only person who can handle the phones and walk-ins, appointments etc. So, if the place is short staffed (which they often seem to be), she will spend FAR more time dealing with that, than working on the customer in front of her. Today I had a pedicure appointment. I had been in the place for over an hour before she began on the first coat. Out of that hour-plus, I would estimate she spent at *MOST* a total of 15 minutes working on me. The rest of the time, ALL other customers took priority over me. EVERY incoming call and walk-in was treated as more important than me. I don’t appreciate that. (It did occur to me to wonder if I would have been treated the same way if I were a white customer. Maybe; maybe not.) When I asked for someone else to please work on my pedicure, since I’d been there for over an hour and my first coat wasn’t even started, she was very apologetic and did focus more on my pedicure. Also gave me a longer massage than usual. But it shouldn’t have gotten to that point. Other places I’ve gone to, when they are so short staffed, rightly (1) let the phone go to voicemail, and (2) put the “closed” sign on the door …. so that they can take care of, respect, and therefore KEEP the business of the customer they already have. I don’t blame Kelly. I blame the management that keeps the place so short staffed that she has to do two full time jobs at once. As I said the work is good, and the location is very convenient for me, so I may still come back. I’m on the fence."
"Expensive for nothing, they sent for a manicurist from their other nearby salon who rushed thru my mani/pedi nothing special. I was not happy with how my nails looked. Never again!"
"I needed a manicure, so I was thrilled I could walk in and get one without an appointment. Very good professional & friendly service."
"Got a mani/pedi and it was just okay. Was not that impressed. The next morning, I cracked two nails. The salon got me in within a couple of hours of calling them, which I appreciate. However, the 2 nails they redid don’t color match the rest of my nails and the line where the tip starts is uneven and messy. The pink color is close but isn’t the same as yesterday. Offered no lotion, or oil and I left with dry looking skin (see picture). This was my first time here and probably my last coming to this salon."
