Pure Nail

"since when is a 20% tip mandatory at a nail salon? i tipped a fair amount for a decent manicure, and my nail tech said "a tip is 20%" after i paid... not sure if i will return"

"I used to go here for years— not the best salon but it was convenient for me. The last and final time I went, a man was appointed to do my nails— I’m not sure if he was tired or if there was a language barrier but he didn’t seem to listen to me at all. I explained I had very thin nails and did not want them to remove the gel polish with heavy use of the machine. He basically left me with paper thin nails that were painful to the touch (he burned through almost my entire nail). It looked like I had scurvy. I had asked for a French manicure with red tips instead of white, he proceeded to paint my nails completely white in the thickest, chunky white polish they had. It seems silly how upset I was, but I use my hands in photography for work so, it was pretty frustrating. It took 2 months for my nails to return to normal which = 2 months I wasn’t able to work with my hands in pictures."

"was my first time wanted to get full set of acrylics done was a fairly simple design they charged me $125 and the acrylic was laid on thick and bumpy and the whole session took 2 hours. i have gotten acrylics before at other places for a better price and with more complex designs and a more efficient service. would not come back and would not recommend."
