"Some of the best Mexican food I've had in New York. We made a reservation on short notice (Friday night) - there's a lot of seating. Service is very attentive and helpful! We ordered the Milpa salad, Tacos de coliflor, Lamb barbacoa, Carnitas, and Tres leches for dessert. Everything was absolutely excellent - you can tell everyone pays great attention to detail. Our favorites were the Milpa salad and the Lamb barbacoa. Oh, and their corn tortillas are so, so good. We also had a few of their inventive cocktails, including their Espresso martini - which may be my favorite in the city. Ambiance could elevated by simply removing some seating. I wouldn't say it feels intimate - but, you probably won't care because the food is so good! It's worth the trip. I'll definitely be going again."

"Stumbled across this place on a late Thursday night, but so glad I did. The food blew me away. Absolutely delicious, fresh, and authentic. The fluke ceviche was so good, the tacos went down easy, the seasoning on the shrimp was perfect, and the the steak was super tender and excellently cooked. Considering I'm not a huge fan of mole, the enchiladas were my least favorite, but still good enough to eat my half. If you really like mole, you'll love them. Bartender Lalo was great and easy to talk to. Will be coming back for sure."
