"Strongly discourage using this company and this local office for insurance. My wife was a loyal customer to 8 years making timely payments(automatic withdrawals) each month. Farmers then went to a 6 month payment plan, with neither Corporate or local office notification. Then, since they “hadn’t heard from us” authorizing the 6 month withdrawal, they dropped us, leaving us unknowingly uncovered for an entire month! The local office said “sorry, you’ll have to call corporate.” Outrageous and disgraceful. ———- Replying to your reply— We went an entire month with two cars totally and unknowingly uninsured! If you are the agent responsible for this account, how do you not have visibility into your client’s billings and cancellations? What value are you adding, other than bringing new customers into the fold that won’t get a minimal level of expected service? Moving on now. Just wanted locals to know what they don’t get from Farmers Insurance, regardless of the excuse."
