In The Cut Barbershop

"No one even acknowledged us waiting for 2 hours even though they said it’s an hour wait. The gentleman who was supposed to cut my son’s hair just kept taking people ahead of us last time we came. He said he doesn’t accept appointments. Otherwise I would’ve made an appointment. Additionally, he was very rude. Doesn’t even look at us or smile or even acknowledge that we’ve been waiting there at least let us know. Hey, I’m gonna step out real quick which he did during that time frame. He also took people that came after us. I don’t know if they had appointments or what but just let us know like hey there was at least two people ahead of you or something but no, he just keeps his head down doesn’t talk to us, but we’ll talk to everyone else."

"Absolutely adore the guys here. My son is 11 and they take time to figure out what he wants and make sure he leaves happy. Ricardo and Carlos and wonderful! Recommend calling ahead because there is always a wait!"

"I tend to cry a lot. sometimes life throws us curve balls we don't expect and this is one I did not expect. All the men in this shop are incredibly professional friendly and have huge hearts. They were incredible with taking care of my grandfather with dementia. As angry as he got the staff was incredible. Five stars doesn't even come close a million stars is what they deserve. "I badly needed a haircut today and I was dreading it. I had spotted this place while getting gas about 2 weeks ago and kept it in the back of my mind. Looked up reviews for "best barbershop in Hazlet" and this came in with the highest ratings. I had the BEST barbershop while living down in Cooper City, Florida (due to Covid and helping my father move there) and I would drive up to 3 hours to get a haircut as that's how good they were (cut, fade, shave, all of it). Well, guess what? I've FINALLY found the same here in NJ after being back since March. I won't tell you who else I received haircuts from, but, I'll never let them cut my hair again! My cut was with the owner, Carlos, and he is definitely a Master at his Craft!"
