"I’ve been a customer here for a couple months now. I have medium length hair for a dude and normally change up my hairstyle frequently, as well as my beard length. The barber I go to in store , Jet, always does a great job. I am largely indecisive as to what haircut I normally want and Jet offers great stylistic feedback, hair care advice, and has consistently made me and my hair look amazing. With each cut I have gotten, Jet communicates through each step what he is doing or asks effectively what I want to do such as if I want my beard cut high, if I want it blended in with a fade etc. He additionally works very well with various hair textures; my beard is very kinked/ curly with various cow licks and growth patterns whereas my hair is wavy to straight. I always feel great whenever I look at myself after getting a haircut from Jet. He has an artistic touch. I 100% recommend going to Goldmine and having Jet as your barber."

"If you're looking for "just another neighborhood barbershop" this is not the place. I've been going to Vlad a few years now and Goldmine is the second place I've followed him to. I moved an hour from the shop but couldn't find the quality or attention to detail and now I'm happy to drive an hour to go see Vlad. He's not just a barber- he's an artist. Waiting in the shop to get my haircut all you see is next level cuts walking out the door. Vlad and these guys understand cutting hair and take it up a notch. "Been looking for a barber for a long time with scissor skils. While doing some research I found Goldmine Barbers in Highland park. I must say the vibe of the place is amazing. The staff there where very friendly and welcoming. They all have amazing talents but i would like to give a huge shout to Jet who gave me an amazing consult and as a result an amazing cut.
