"Good stores. New things. Prices alright."

"I walked into Champs on Friday feeling a little bit overwhelmed since i am not a big fan of retail shopping. Some of the employees didn't really approach me but one did and it was one of the greatest experiences i had as a consumer, especially one who doesn't love the idea of shopping in a mall. Her name was Tina and i am not sure of her title at the store but it should have been manager if it wasn't. She was knowledgeable on not only the product line but the size (actual size) on how things actually fit. She knew prices and was able to answer any and all questions i had. While this alone was impressive, her attitude and personality is what is leading me to write this review. She was approachable and sweet and friendly. She didn't make me feel like i was forced or pressured and made this a great experience. She put me at ease and made me feel important. I made a purchase and maybe i didn't spend a ton of money like others, but it did not cause Tina to treat me any less important. I really hope someone sees this and acknowledges this because with so many people posting about negative experiences, there are people who are so enamored by the service received, i felt i had no choice but to share. Thank you Tina for being a wonderful representative of your store and a wonderful person in general."

"From the min I walked in until the min I walked out my experience was great at this store only because of one reason, and that was the exceptional customer service skills shown through the Sales Personnel Justin. He greeted me with a huge smile and the vast knowledge of sneakers he has + the people skills made me not want to leave the store. I was window shopping to make my Christmas list for my son and my love and he was helpful in every which way. Each question I had was answered with such respect and unbiased opinion of best of his knowledge. Even though I told him from the beginning I wasnt gonna buy anything that day Justin went above and beyond to make sure I left as a happy customer wanting to return to him to make the purchase when I know I can order them simply with a click on the computer at home. Justin is a great asset to the company. Great customer service skills + the vast knowledge and the personal touch he gives each customer will help Champs make a lot of money. I as a returning customer would highly recommend him being considered for the next promotion with in the company. Great service every time I walk in. Anyone having trouble deciding which sneaker or any goods from champs to buy for your loved ones? Please go see Justin he will make sure you're a happy customer leaving the store wanting to come back."

"I come here pretty frequently for my husband and i think they are the best athletic shoe store in SI mall. They have a good selection and great deals on champs apparel (lots of bogo), AND they carry big and tall sizes. The only downside is they run out of sizes quick but will gladly order anything for you. Definitely recommend."

"While in the Staten Island champs store trying to purchase Christmas gifts they lost power for approx 5 seconds. The lights came back up but not the internet to use their registers. Many customers patiently waited but after one hour had to leave. They said check back. They also had an Adias jacket with no stickers or price tag on it which unfortunately was the size I needed. I put my name and was told if power wasn’t restored no problem they would hold in the back for us but check back before mall closes. I ran to store way before close and noticed gate down. They said no power for registers. I said ok. I will come back and purchase tomorrow am. They then shouted NO. We cannot hold things till tomorrow!!! They were unapologetic and unprofessional and I wouldn’t shop there ever again."
