"The reception staff was very attentive and explained all the process with good detailing. So far, Dr. Yuriy was pleasant and very gentle. I need to go back for my actual procedure so we will see. Office was clean and ambiance was relaxing."
"The dentist was very knowledgeable and very good in explaining the procedure to me. I did not feel any pain or discomfort during or after the procedure. Very gentle and calm dentist. Thank you."
"Please double check coverage with your insurance provider before agreeing to additional services. Otherwise you will be paying for thousands out of pocket for services they claim are not covered but are. For example, my fillings are 100% covered based on my follow up with my insurance yet, I was going to be charged 1.5k per filling had I not checked myself. Do your own due diligence or find another dentist. Be aware of upselling and trust your gut."
"I got a regular dental cleaning here in 2020 but have waited to write the review. After having an awful experience here, I stopped visiting 65 Broadway Dental and found a new dentist that I'm much happier with. The dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was sleazy. She was trying to diagnose me with periodontitis and was telling me I need to get a deep cleaning, and because this is a chronic condition, I would need to visit the office more often to treat this. Surprisingly, the doctor also signed off on it. For a 20-something year old that takes care of his teeth, I was surprised and I couldn't imagine what kind of advice they sell to other people. Since then, over the years, I have gotten plenty of other routine dental cleanings and *never* has a dentist mentioned anything negative about my gums—even after asking them for a second opinion. No other dentist suggested a deep cleaning. 65 Broadway Dental's hygienist was simply wrong to say that I had a chronic gum disease. It seemed like they were trying to unnecessarily extract more money from me/my insurance. Even if they had good intentions, why would anyone want to go to a doctor whose first suggestion is to get an invasive procedure done? My experience was from a few years ago, and hopefully this practice has improved since. For me, I'm glad that was the first and last time I visited!"
"UPDATE: Their response was a lie to look good. I called and they told me the hundreds of dollars I paid was for non-refundable treatment plan. Despite me not getting all the treatment. They said they won't be refunding. ORIGINAL: Fraudulent billing. They are only good for cleaning and 6-month check-up because they can't frauduently bill for that without getting caught. That is why I gave it 2 stars. However, any additional work? Do not get done. They billed me for things that my insurance says is fully covered. They also submit claims wrong, possibly on purpose, so the insurance won't cover and they can make you pay and then claim the insurance didn't cover it. I paid the cost of my treatment plan upfront because they wouldn't schedule the treatment without it. When I went for fillings, the dentist tried to upsell me on different fillings which raised alarm bells. I contacted my insurance and lo and behold, the fillings were covered and the deep cleaning they told me I needed was also covered. They never should have billed me in the first place. I never even got the fillings I already paid for and now I am trying to get my money back."
