"One of the worst dentist offices I've ever been to. My partner and I went there to have a routine checkup, she was talked into getting work done that have only caused issues with her teeth and after misleading her on the price had to pay a lot out of pocket to get the work done. Not only that but she made sure everything was paid and she was good only to get an extra bill in the mail months later for another 120 dollars. We will never go back there"

"I had to go to this dentist because of emergency work that needed to be done. I ended up having 14 teeth pulled all on the same day and the dentist had me use my own medication (painkillers) during the procedure and the experience so traumatized me that my PTSD has made it impossible for me to go back and have the work completed and I can't go anywhere else because they have $18,000 of my money and will only refund part of it which is not enough to have another competent dentist complete the work. I am sorry I ever set foot in this office and am in the position where I will have to endure this "doctor" working on me again."

"I usually only go to the Fishkill Family Dental office for my cleanings. Their hygienist is a Superstar! I stopped going to this office a few years ago bc the actual building was falling apart from the inside. Fortunately, I'm happy to say that they've made SOME improvements to this and their staffing. But I still go to the Brewster office for any major work and it's worth the drive. I'd love to say otherwise but it is what it is. The only reason they are getting 4 stars and not 3 is bc they share some dentists with the Brewster office and I LOVE my dentist (not going to say his/her name bc then I'll never get an appt, lol). Also, not only is the hygienist a Superstar but the ladies at the front desk are quite awesome too. I just wish mgmt would take the time to do the physical repairs to the inside of the building necessary for a legit medical office in the 21st century. People pay A LOT of money to come there. Also, I wasn't going to mention this but I heard a rumor (from outside the office) that the new management took away staff's PTO and wants them to work through all the holidays. This is not acceptable and un-American. Do better! Fishkill is slated to explode with growth in the next 5 years and Family Dental could grow with it, or they could sink bc of stupid changes like this. Just my $0.02. A few more suggestions are: Increase the waiting room size by using the kids area that's underutilized (knock out the 2 small half walls). ALWAYS have 2 people in the check in area. Bring back TV use exam rooms (even on mute), and XM radio throughout the office. A little soothing music goes a long way. Also, possibly save a lot of money by stopping giving every patient garbage toothbrushes/floss (get better toothbrushes and ask if patients want them). One last thing (and this may sound weird to some people), please stop or limit the over-use of Fluoride treatments. It's proven to be unhealthy for so many reasons. Google it. Thanks for your time!
