"Prior to our first stay at the OC, me and my boyfriend decided to pack light considering we were only there for one single night, and my dumb self decided to not pack any extra comfortable shoes. Struggling the whole time in my heeled boots, my feet couldn't bare the pain any longer so I begged my boyfriend to come help me find some flip flops or sandals of some sort. As we went at the beginning of January & NOT summer, we had no luck at their gift shop but the cashier suggested we try their other shops saying "there are some discounted items for sale since it's not in season anymore." So walking around, we checked out Flying Point on the Shore and were lucky enough to find the sale racks at the back left of the store, so I picked out the cheapest ones I could find. We were greeted by Donyae (sorry if I butchered the spelling!) and she had the best sense of humor to my situation that it made the trip worth stopping here! She absolutely cracked me up omg, and I hope she sees this and knows how much she helped me in my desperate time of need haha! If you ever forget to pack a necessity or just feel like browsing, stop here for some nice pieces & shoes if you need them! They have a wide selection for men, women, and children!"

"Shopped here 6:00 pm Thursday 12/15. Had a terrible experience with the manager here. Clearly she was wrong and admitted she did not give us the prime discount of 20% but immediately after the sale, refused to give us the credit for the discount. Stated it’s our fault she didn’t put in the discount. Terrible experience, overpriced goods. Empty store for a reason. Safe yourself the trouble and time and find another location to stop. Anyway they don’t comp your room charges."

"Forgot my bathing suit on a winter getaway at The Ocean Resort & wanted to go in the pool. Thought I’d purchase one here. Website shows shop as open but it never opened. No updated hours listed , no one inside just locked doors :("
