Reviews of QDOBA Mexican Eats
"Excatly what the lady under me said. I walked in at 9:15 after working a full day. I got the eye roll should have walked right out. Went ahead ordered and paid while my fiancé was ordering still. The bowl was half empty. The hairy guy was a jerk and the girl who rang me up could care less had to pay extra for something that should have been a “regular bowl” as soon as I left the lights went off .. too bad they close at 10pm. If you’re not happy at your job don’t do it - this is why blaze pizza went out of business - no worth ethic anymore ! insane"
"I’ve been to multiple locations of QDOBA on Staten Island and have always had a pleasant experience. I was on my break from work and decided to try the new QDOBA location on Hylan Blvd.. the food was great, but the service was unpleasant. The young woman working the front looked very unhappy, not friendly, and the bowl I had ordered was not even filled. No chicken, no queso, no rice. It was super skimpy. There was no greeting when I walked in the door and when I said thank you, there was no response. The atmosphere itself did not seem inviting. I am very disappointed."
"Every time you order online, they always get the order wrong. I really like the food, but that is disappointing. I would avoid if you have specific dietary needs, and order in person instead"
"We ordered delivery and the food was good (tacos, quesadillas, salad with chicken) but everything was WAY too salty. All five people eating thought so, it wasn't just me, so it kind of ruined the experience for us and I'm not sure I'll order from here again. The cookie and brownie they offer for dessert were DELICIOUS though."
"We decided to try this place instead of Moe's. Pretty similar, except Qdoba looks cleaner (which is why we were looking to an alternative to Moe's). The cashier was very friendly but new (he kept telling us that) and he was obviously nervous. He made us a great burrito and salad, so no complaints. The person we later figured out that was training him was sitting in a booth with a friend and not really offering him any help (the poor guy). She eventually came over to offer him assistance on the register but she wasn't as friendly (she seemed annoyed). I was surprised that (unlike Moe's) we were not offered or given any chips & salsa with our order. (We didn't realize until we got the food home). I was also surprised that there were fewer choices than Moe's, like the rice (only white), beans (only black), onions (only pickled, not raw)... several minor differences. I also feel like basically the same order we would have received at Moe's cost about $5 more at Qdoba ($35 for a salad, a burrito, and 2 large sodas - and no chips/salsa). I might return - primarily because the place looks cleaner than Moe's."
