"They done an amazing job on my girlfriends hair! She went in for the Japanese Hair Straightening. The workers were so kind and careful. They knew exactly what was best for her hair and made sure to not rush the process. Ill provide before & after of her hair. It was very frizzy and would puff out in humidity, she now loves it. "I called ahead and they told me to come in as quickly as I can. I told them I'm driving all the way from Plainfield right away. When I came, they said they were booked and didn't honor my appointment. They said I was booked for 4 when they said to just come in soon as I can on the phone, which was a waste of time. Edit: As mentioned, they never mentioned 4pm as my time; I also said where I was driving from so this seems to be an odd communication issue. Also I didn't storm out: the person I talked to was laying down on his chair and didn't care and said bye, so I had no choice but to awkwardly leave and even thanked him. I even sat in my car in front of the salon for a good while, trying to determine my next plan of action. It is what it is, but luckily I found another salon. I'm a long-time contributor so I'm not looking to go around leaving poor reviews, nor looking to forcefully interfere where I was not made to feel welcomed after a long drive."

"This is my second time at TJ hair salon. It was a great experience again! This time my boyfriend came in and got his hair cut as well. I did a single process color and a lightly layered cut. She remembered my color from last time and was very thorough, and he cut my hair perfectly. It’s reasonably priced and both stylists are kind as always. 10/10 recommend!"
