"I was expecting a lot more out of them based on my previous reviews but genuinely I don’t think they know how to trim all hair types properly. For context, I have natural 4b/4c hair and went in for a trim and blow out—the first blowout I’ve had in a few years. Everything was fine till it came to apply the trim. The lady just kept cutting and cutting. She started off with the back and I was unable to see the progress she made till it was too late to fix. Rather than catch an attitude, I let her finish it up. The cut looked aesthetically pleasing (which is why I’m not giving them 1 star) but it wasn’t trim, more like a hair cut. The overall environment is welcoming. I’d be willing to try them again but with someone whose not as scissors happy."

"Since the moment you enter to Doris Salon you can see the level of cleanliness and precautions they are taking for themselves and their clients. Doris used the best products on my hair and took her time to do highlights. I have curly hair and she did beautiful highlights with so much care that at the end my hair felt softer and healthier. The price was reasonable for the amount of time she spent on my hair and the final product. I strongly recommend Doris hair salon."
