"BEYOND AWFUL. Criminal. Negligent. I would give negative stars. She ruined my child’s teeth. They are a drill and fill factory and overbook which is why you wait for HOURS UPON HOURS to be seen. They also do not take their time with patients and do NOT do thorough cleanings. She did a filling that bridged 2 teeth so my son couldn’t floss between those 2 teeth. The dentist we saw after we left Dr. T could not believe what he was seeing. He had to remove and redo this cavity (and others) because it could eventually cause gum disease or bone loss from the inability to floss. The new dentist spent hours cleaning and repairing my sons teeth after Dr. T and her team and it cost me thousands of dollars. My son will literally need new teeth when he gets older after his experience with Dr. T. She will blame you and everyone else and she LIES. She knows what she’s doing and she knows better. You want to trust your doctors and believe they are taking care of you and acting on your best interest. She does not. I should have left her long before I did. Worst decision ever. I will regret it forever. DO NOT GO HERE."
"I'm shocked in response to these reviews. I stumbled across them because I wanted to look up this office to see if it was still there as I wanted to see if Dr. Francis could be considered as part of the group of providers managing a treatment plan to handle extractions in prep for my child's future maxillofacial surgery. He saw Dr. Francis and she took care of all of his needs when he was a smaller child. We always had a great experience. Some of these stories sounded like negligence on behalf of the parents that they expected the doctor to fix or simply put, unpreparedness."
"I’m so surprised at all these negative reviews because Dr Francis is really awesome. Her team is very friendly and kind too. She is one of the few places that I trust with my kids dental health. I’ve been with her for over 10 years and service is still great. I think parents are just experiencing more families looking for a great dentist. Saturday appointments will always be a bit crazy because everyone wants the weekends. I do weekdays and it’s in and out. I like that all the forms can be done prior and so when we arrive it’s a quick visit. Also if you have dental issues you probably will have to wait just a bit because she deals with kids so she has to take her time. Thank you Dr Francis."
"I went to the office on Friday, December 6, 2023 with my four year old. He had a mask I didn't. They asked that we stand outside until it was our turn because they would not provide a mask to me. I took note that every staff wore two masks. It was cold, rainy day. Due to scheduling conflicts and the schedule of this location I was reluctant to leave. They would also charge a no-show fee. And, to be honest, my poor boy really needed a cleaning. So I chose to stand outside with my child and wait in the cold rain. I also asked to speak to the manager. Dr Dooley came. She was bold! Bopping her head and snapping she stood by their policy. And, she added that I could have left my child inside and I wait outside. Then, still without even the vaguest apology or remorse or compassion she asks if I want the service or not. Every single staff at this location should be ashamed! To degrade a patient/parent or any human being in such a manner is absolutely disgraceful. I am on the hunt for a pediatric dentist who firstly compassionate; loves their job; and great with kids. Please let me know if there's one that fits the bill! Park Slope Kids Dental is NOT the one!"
"Suspicious why there are no reviews here as this office has been around for years. Take note! We arrived on time for an appointment yesterday, to discover that the office was running 1.5-2 hours behind schedule. I understand that staff had called out sick, but we never received a call beforehand to let us know of the delay. We would have been happy to arrive later or reschedule, as we know that short staffing cannot be helped. We were expected to wait 2 hours, in a waiting room where every seat was filled and all available floor space was packed with families standing shoulder-to-shoulder. We have been patients at Park Slope Kids Dental for years and there are ALWAYS long waits in this office, but this was the breaking point for us. We like Dr. Francis, but we will be seeking a new dentist now due to terrible office management."
