"My Jeep kept turning off while driving until it would not turn back on. I was told by another mechanic that I needed a tune up but Beyond the Garage was a cheaper price so I scheduled with them for the tune up. When the mechanic saw my truck on Sunday he told me it needed a tune up and two other things so it costed more. He did the work and was paid. On Friday, I started to have the same issues. I called him and he said he would see what he could do. He was nice. His wife texted me and told me she could not schedule me into Monday. I told her that I commute to and from Salem county to work and I dropped off my daughter at daycare and she still needed to be picked up. She told me I was not scheduled and the earliest appointment is Monday and that I asked for a tune up and it ended up being more than that. It really does not matter if I got extra work done, it was not done for free. I was trying to explain to her that I got fixed what was told of me to get my car running and that I did not pay to get work done if my car was still going to have the same issue and that I am only asking her to fix the issue. I was told that I was interrupting her running her business albeit I am her business, that she cannot just stop what she is doing to get to me. If there is something wrong with completed work, that person should not be put at the back of the line. The problem should be rectified promptly, not a couple of days later. I was also told to stop mentioning how much I paid which I told her devalues that I paid her and that I was being immature for texting long messages when I was only trying to explain myself very clearly. In addition her messages were not short winded either. I have been to other mechanics and, when it was fixed and I still had the same issue, I was never told to wait two days for them to look at my car. I was also never told to stop speaking about how much I paid and was never called by any professional "immature" for being textually thorough. I hope this message is seen by the company so that the problem will be fixed and I can take down the post or write an updated review, which is better. I have never written a bad post about a business' practice and do not want this post to be my last review on the company. This is an updated review with Beyond the Garage. As I stated before, the mechanic was nice. My experience with him from the time he looked at my Jeep until yesterday when he spent well over an hour with my vehicle has been nothing short of pleasant, informative, and fully understanding. He is someone that is personal and reasonable. I was prioritized and not put off. I was heard and not dismissed. I was valued and not devalued. I was respected and not cursed. He listened and was very accommodating. He treats his customers, not as names on a list, but as people who are troubled with vehicular plights, with a level of care and patience that has reached the summit. It gives me solace knowing that there are still mechanics and people out here like him. He is in a league of his own and truly stands out and stands alone. He is a one man show. He is definitely the backbone and the nucleus to Beyond the Garage!"

"What a professional! Our minivan died in the driveway. Roadside assistance jumped us and our battery died again. This is our only vehicle and has a wheelchair conversion to transport my husband, so we were nervous about where to go. We tried Beyond the Garage based on reviews. Cat was so sweet on the phone and got us squeezed in even though CJ had a busy week ahead. She called the night before to confirm our appointment. CJ called the next morning on time to let us know he was on the way. He took care of everything efficiently. He took time to shop around online for a great price on our battery. He even made sure I knew where my spare tire was located and how to inflate it in case I didn't know, which I didn't! Everything was well-documented and communicated via text and email. I paid via venmo and the whole thing was done very quickly. We are going to use him for our needs going forward. What an excellent service this is!!! Thanks, Cat and CJ!!!"
"You found the best auto service! CJ was amazing and super efficient. He was able to work with us to locate our car and fixed the issue in no time. He checked to make sure everything was ok entirely. He was extremely kind and courteous. We spent 4 hours trying to work with our insurance agent and 2 other service providers who were not helpful. CJ is your #1 guy! Highly recommend!"
"CJ is the truth. I came from out of town was staying in Atlantic City. I have a brand new 2021 Nissan Maxima. As soon as I pulled it out the parking garage it stalled. I called CJ the same day and he came to my rescue. He performed test to find out someone put something in my gas tank. He came back the next day and drained and fixed the issue. Needless to say I was able to leave AC and head back home, 3hrs away. Made it safely and my car still sounds brand new. I totally recommend his services."
