"Originally posted a 3 star review and no comments when I first picked up my truck. Simply because they did get the truck running and running well. But that’s where the positives stop…. Towed my tow truck into them for a high pressure oil leak. 2 weeks after replacing several parts in the high pressure oil system to get it running prior to this break down. Bring it to B&K under several positive referrals. The truck was brought into the shop and several days later after no follow up call. I called to check on the status of the job. Every phone call led to a dead end of the receptionist telling me she’s not sure of the status she works in the office and will have to get back to me ( office is attached to shop and 75 feet from the mechanic who was working on my truck). Promised a phone call back in a few mins and never received a call back. Drove down to the facility and spoke with the woman who said she would call back. On the following afternoon. Sounding disgruntled she went out to the shop and grabbed the tech who was working on the truck. The tech brought me back to the truck and explained that he located the high pressure oil leak it was under the passenger valve cover and he got the truck running. Just waiting for a part from ford and it will be done the following day ( Friday). Friday afternoon I call to check on the status of the repair and the same woman answers the phone and says the same thing. Sorry I don’t know. There’s more problems with the truck and you need to talk to the mechanic he will call you back in a little while. ( never called). Monday I once again drive to the facility to find out what was going on with the truck and the entire top end of the motor is ripped open ( turbo, fuel and oil filter housings, HPOP cover, valve covers ) the tech explains to me that an Oring where the ICP sensor passed through the HPOP cover went bad over the years and started leaking. ( the oring was replaced 2 weeks prior) and that now was the. Cause. Of the. Oil leak. Go in the office after speaking to the tech and she asks how I plan on paying for this job as it’s close to 6,000 dollars at this point. I explained to her it would be credit and she explained that there would be a credit card surcharge and if we had other form of payments. I told her yes and we can figure all that out when the truck was conplete. Over the next few days I did not hear anything so I called on Thursday. And they said it will be done Friday. Picked up the truck on Friday. The bill was around 5300.00 I asked for a breakdown of what was what as I felt it was excessive. Once again the woman behind the counter had no idea what was going on. And the tech who did the work was not in that day. After going through the bill I felt it was excessive and I voiced my concern. The woman explained to me that she just works there and I’d have to talk to the owner next week as he was on vacation that week. I asked for my old parts back that were changed out. As some were under warranty from the fire dealer and were changed 2 weeks earlier. The tech explains that the part was a core and returned it to the dealer. That was false and a flat out lie. I called the dealer and they spoke to the delivery driver and the IPR was never returned. The cost of this specific part was 500.00. I paid the bill under duress and once I secured my vehicle I sent an email to the email on the invoice saying I was. Dissatisfied with the bill and the parts were not returned. I explained in the email that if this is not resolved I will dispute the charges and we can figure out a reasonable outcome to this. Not even an hour after that email I get a phone call from the owner telling me to return the truck and he will hold it and charge me storage until we resolve the disputed ammount. So to avoid police interaction as he was threatening I did not dispute the bill with my bank. I explained to him that I wanted my parts back or credit off the bill and he said he will work on it. It has been 3 weeks and still have not received a credit or my parts back."
"I'm the service manager at Xtreme Machines and had the pleasure of using the company to repair my forklifts. Awesome company to deal with... Very professional, fast on-site service and their road Tech Steve is a pleasure to deal with. He came in, diagnosed the issue, removed the part, brought back to the shop, and had it re-installed the next day."
"Great service! Happy I finally found a company that is reliable and honest too work on my telehandlers."
"Amazing service!! Had a check engine light come on in my truck, dropped it off and they had it diagnosed in no time got the parts and my truck was back up on the road in hours!!! Great customer service!"
"I have 4 diesel trucks that I used for business purposes. Mostly older Ford 7.3's and a few dodge cummins. It's hard to find a good mechanic that you can trust to do the right thing. I have to say Billy over at B&K by far is the only person I would trust to touch any of my diesel trucks for now on. I have been through 4 mechanics and thousands of dollars fixing and replacing parts trying to chase down problems. That has come to an end with B&K. They pin point the problem fix it in a very timely manner and you can drive off knowing that your issue is really resolved. I would highly recommend them to anyone that has diesel vehicles. The guys there are top notch with quality of work 2nd to none."
