"Be careful here. They did my routine cleaning and took x-rays. Then, they did a predatory "consultation" where they used visual aids to draw my attention to "concerning areas" of my teeth. Then, they asked ME if I wanted to have work done or "keep an eye on it" which is a sleuthy way of getting you to consent to having dental work done that is not medically necessary (and might not even be covered by insurance!). In what world does a dentist look at the patient to ask them if they think they need to have work done or not? I saw so many elderly people here, too. I can only imagine how easily they talked them into having work done by making them think something was wrong when it wasn't medically necessary :("
