"Used to go to him as a kid he's the only dentist who knows how to work even in a tiny mouth and he knows how to numb you up without you even knowing really hope to find out if he takes Medicare or Medicaid if not I will need to find a dentist just like him went to another dentist who did accept Medicaid and that one was terrible I need Dr alkon he actually tries to save the teeth and was and is the only dentist I trust for my teeth"

"Dr. Alkon and his team are the best! Whenever, I had an emergency he always made the time to see me. He would even come in early just to accommodate my schedule. Additionally, he always took the time to make sure I was comfortable before starting any procedure. He took away any apprehension I had about dental procedures."

"The worst possible dental experience. I came in with a wisdom tooth that possibly needed to be extracted (or not). Dr. Alkon gave me minimal anesthesia. He has the worst bedside manners imaginable. He is very rude, impatient, abrupt. He is also incompetent. He managed to chip my other tooth while extracting this one. That was the first ever tooth (barring the baby teeth) that I had removed. So, some heads up or empathy would have been nice. Nope. I got none. I am still having nightmares about the horrendous cracklings as he was chipping away at the tooth, struggling to extract bits and pieces of it.... (he is a tiny frail man). He said that I can go to work almost right away and the bleeding will stop in half an hour. It did not (it lasted 4 hours), and I was not able to go to work the next day. The neighboring tooth got badly infected after the procedure, etc. - it was a nightmare. I have a serious PTSD flashbacks to this procedure."

"Dr. Alkon is a great dentist and has been my dentist for the last 7 years now. I travel 40 minutes to see him at least 3 times a year just for a cleaning and check ups because I can’t imagine finding another dentist that I trust like I do him. He was recommended to me by a coworker when I re-broke a tooth near the job I used to have and I have kept going back ever since. The work he has done on me is solid and has lasted much longer, and with better quality, than dentists I used previously. And his advise is sound and conservative. When I get a cleaning, it’s a real cleaning. And when I’ve had urgent issues, I had no problem getting squeezed in and he was able to fix me up correctly. Plus, Dr. Alkon is extremely personable which makes the whole dentist experience a much nicer visit. I highly recommend Dr. Alkon!"
