Edison Dental Arts

"I get an email from my Dentist Dr. Steven Puma saying that he is moving to a new office, Edison Dental Arts. On the day of my appointment for a cleaning I checked in and saw Dr. Puma in his new office. He did a quick exam and the cleaning. In conversation with Dr. Puma it came to pass that he was retiring and selling his practice to the above dentists. I don't have dental insurance but I have a discount Dental Discount Plan that Dr. Puma accepted. After the cleaning I was told by the receptionist that they didn't take my plan. She told me she would be nice to me and give me a discount of 10%. It would now only be $261 instead of $290. For an exam and cleaning with my plan I pay usually pay about $108. After a back and forth exchange she said it was my responsibility to find out whether they took my insurance. Nasty Women, I wish I could remember her name. She printed out the bill, gave me a copy and told me she did not want to converse any further. WRONG. Something similar happened a couple of years earlier when my previous dentist retired and a new one took over. The first thing they told me when I got to my appointment was that they didn't accept my insurance. I thanked them and left. The same day I found another dentist that did. Every cloud has a silver lining. The original dentist that was my fist choice before Dr Puma wasn't accepting new patients. Now he is and he's my new dentist. He takes my Dental Discount Plan. I also paid the $261 bill today."

"Reception staff was very nice. Conveyer-belt treatment for the rest. I’m very used to small, private practices so I know that is a huge factor for me. Hygienist did a fair job but no introduction or pleasantries. Doctor was nice. Just not my personal preference."

"This Dental office might be the best I have ever seen! With staff that truly care about the patients and doctors that go not just the extra mile but miles for their patients. I was in excruciating pain and called them an hour till closing, and even though they didn’t have any appointments available they took me in and not for a second made me feel like my visit was rushed or as I had inconvenienced them. I don’t believe I will ever use anywhere else for my dental needs."

"Edison dental arts is wonderful! I've been seeing Dr Paul Tedeschi for 20+ years and have always had a great experience. I don't dread going to the dentist!! Everyone at this practice treats you like family! All of the dentists, the technicians, the hygienists and the reception staff are awesome! Dr Paul has always tried to minimize cost as much as possible while still providing the absolute best dental care. I can't recommend this practice highly enough!!"
