"This Beauty shop does a super job on braids and weaves. The pricing is favorable. The staff is very accommodating. It is closed to the Lite rail and Public Transportations in Jersey City Nj. It opens early enough in the morning and closes at decent hours. Two persons to one head at times. I like this knook in the wall."

"Only girls I let touch my hair! I’ve had every style you can think of from dreads to twist, Nabu is like my second aunti lol.... sometimes it gets crowded but it comes with the shop they take their time and untangle your hair they even grease your scalp... quick story, so I was getting my hair in box braids and I was nowhere near finished, I was so hungry :( and Nabu feed me seafood jollof rice like come on why would I go to any other shop"

"Christina did my daughter’s hair. I am truly pleased with the service I received. She was gentle and showed compassion towards my daughter. In the beginning she took her time to massage my daughter’s scalp and combed out her hair.My daughter has very thick hair but Christina didn’t pull on her hair. Will definitely be back!"

"Left one over crowded braiding shop down the street but before I left I called Nabou shop to see if they were busy. The person over the phone told me they weren’t. I walk to the shop only for Nabou not to be there and two ladies sitting watching African stories. Neither spoke. I initiated the greeting and explained to them that I just spoke to them over the phone in regards to me getting four goddess cornrows. One lady knods. I walk over to show her the style I wanted which was very simple. She says to me, “ Oh it’s not going to be like that because of your hair.”... She’s referring my natural kinky hair. Which I’ve taken the time to detangle and seperate. I tell her that I have the stuff to help smooth my hair while braiding it. She then tells me well you need to wait and see Nabou. I asked her what time was Nabou supposed to come in she tells me I don’t know... UGHHH I kindly walked back out the door to find another braiding shop that would treat me with care."
