"This guy is absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe he's been in business for decades scamming the people in this community and getting away with it. I've been literally rescheduled over 20 times in a timespan of about a year. He has used every excuse in the book: Covid, short staffing, broken equipment, funerals, bad weather etc. He's used all these excuses multiple times. As you see by other multiple reviews, he overcharges you, takes your money, then gives you the runaround. His staff constantly changes too. None of them last but a few months at a time. Huge red flag. He talks to them in a rude, condescending, and passive-aggressive manner. He also asks patients to post positive reviews on here, which was another red flag. You shouldn't have to constantly ask for reviews. After I paid in full for my unfinished services, multiple people I personally know told me their experiences, how horrible of a doctor he is, and his shady tactics. Even my friend's girlfriend used to work there and said how much of a low down crook he is. Maybe he thinks he can take advantage of the people in the area and get away with this because his office isn't exactly in the suburbs if you get what I'm saying. I'm currently getting a lawyer to get my money back, and also filing a complaint to The New Jersey State Board of Dentistry. I've had enough. I've paid a lot of money, and only been seen a few times in over a year with more work to be done. I have all my receipts too, along with text messages that show the ridiculous amount of times I've been rescheduled. People, please don't make the same mistake I made along with various others in the reviews. Go somewhere else. I'm so frustrated with this quack of a dentist. I invested a lot of money and not much as been done at all. You can only imagine how crazy and unprofessional my PTO from work looks from dealing with this nonsense for a year. To anyone reading this, find another dentist. If I can save even one person from going through what I've been through, that's a win. PS: Constantly replying to reviews stating "we do not recognize your name as a regular patient" doesn't mean what they're saying is false, nor does it rationalize people calling you out on your BS. Everyone can't make up the same identical lie consistently. Legal action is coming soon from multiple people if this continues. Get it together."

"After numerous cancellations and being charged upfront for services not rendered I decided not to return, most cancellation’s were on the very day of my appointment, unacceptable & inconsiderate. When I called for a refund I was told that I had to speak to Dr Caruso’s accountant because they couldn’t credit me themselves. I’ve never heard such a thing, now I’m in debt and my credit is suffering. May need to seek legal counsel"

"I’ve been coming here since I was 13. Always a pleasant experience. Dr. Caruso is a phenomenal dentist. I hope he doesn’t retire, ever. Any referral I need, they match his expertise and service. The staff is very friendly and approachable."

"This come with deep sadness. This doctor and his office had being extremely unethical and professional. Ie paid more than $9800 in advance for a treatment almost 4 years ago and after many cancellations I decided to stop the treatment and ask for my records and a statement of my account with them. After almost two month still no respond. I try to reach out the doctor and no answer or call back. I drove more than an hour to the office and the staff (while clearly working inside) told me the office was close and they couldn’t open the door. Extremely sketchy for a health professional. Please be aware he is a money driven person that overbook himself at the expenses of his patients. Sometimes was there for more than 6 hrs waiting on other patients under the excuse he had emergencies to take care of. Update october 30,2023 Multiple promises of contact me and still not a word for mr. Caruso. Seeking legal advice to escalate this issue."

"My first visit was extremely pleasant. The office is beautiful and the ambiance is calming and reassuring. I had to wait a bit but I was attended to while I waited to be seen, by the staff who were equally respectful. The doctor has a very gentle manner."
