"Terrible place to go for dentistry. Dr. Ekstien doesn't seem like he knows what he's doing. He would always ask me what is supposed to happen when that should be his job. The first tooth I got made for me was very yellow and clearly looked terrible and instead of being a doctor and doing his job he asked me if it looked OK. I was shocked he didn't say himself that it looked terrible and didn't match. I said what? No, that looks horrible. It took us several attempts to get the color right. I've never dealt with a dentist asking me what to do. I just wish I knew how terrible of a job he would do before I got my crown put in. He used a metal abutment instead of gold and now my tooth looks several shades darker than the rest of my teeth and the shape of tooth used doesn't match any of my other teeth. Paid way too much money for such bad job done. I highly recommend you keep looking for a different dentist."

"BEST DENTIST OFFICE!!!! I have had Medicaid for about a year and every time I got dentist work done through my insurance my teeth still never fully felt clean. I tried multiple places and the offices were always over crowded and inattentive. The appointments were rushed UNTIL i decided to contact Smile Design Specialist. I went to them when I had private insurance and they were always so attentive- they thoroughly explained every single thing as well as took their time to clean my teeth and give me a full exam- I waited little to no time for my appointment and they didn’t rush through!!!! It wasn’t a quick 10 minute cleanup and off to the next patient like the dentist I was seeing through Medicaid. Smile Design does not accept Medicaid so I paid out of pocket utilizing the special offers they give to Self-Pay patients and it was WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY. I will continue to pay out of pocket just because the type of service provided was unmatched- some things you really get what you pay for. I highly recommend this office. "Let me start off by saying the moment i walked into the office, the sweetest woman named Fran greeted me and knew who i was immediately (initial visit as well). Shows that are on top of their appointments and aware of the patients walking into their office. The office is so comfortable, clean, and the atmosphere feels cozy. When i was brought into the consult room, Keisha asked me all the appropriate questions that were vital to my visit. She was super nice and once again made me feel comfortable. Dr. Ekstein is literally the nicest doctor I have ever encountered in my life. I am terrified of the dentist but he was so friendly and funny! When I explained my fears and everything, he literally said "I get it, you were traumatized." When he did a quick evaluation he explained every single thing in detail what had to be done and how. Once we were complete, I went back to the front desk where I was scheduled another appointment to follow up with more details and insurance information which was already started by the other nice woman (I do not know her name, sorry). If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Ekstein!!!! I am truly happy with my initial visit."
