"My Mazda died in the middle of the night due to some engineering fail. The tow truck driver suggested this shop and I had little choice. Turns out the car needed an entirely new engine, a problem we found out is actually common with this type of breakdown. They gave us an estimated range for the price and we agreed to have to the work done. We got a call a few days later saying the rear bearings needed replacing too. Ugh... but I told him to just do the work, better to get it done in one visit. They did the work over about 2 weeks. It took them a while because the first 2 engines they got hold of were no good but the third was a charm. I'm glad they took the time and integrity to return our car in good condition rather than rush it to us. The price for all the work fell into the middle of the estimate. Overall I'm pretty happy with the work done and can recommend visiting this place if we needed anything large like this done in the future."

"I could have sworn I have written a review here before. Oh well, here it goes. I do a lot of my own car work. Every now and then there's a job I don't have tools for, can't figure out, or just don't have a place to do it. Pequannock Automotive is always honest and will back up their work if they make a mistake. (Happened once, fixed ASAP for free) I recommend them to all my friends and will continue to bring my cars there. Pros: Honest, fair priced, good work, convenient. Cons: Often forget to call before completing work to give estimate (Price is always cheaper than expected anyway), and never once called when the car was done, I always need to call and ask. The cons are not deal breakers and can easily be fixed. Pros are what matters!"
