"My family and I have taken our cars to Panek’s for 50 years. It is reassuring to have an honest group who you can trust in an industry where others can be so careless or even negligent. I moved away from Livingston years ago and tried to find a mechanic closer to home. Big mistake. I learned my lesson and go back to Panek’s for all my car servicing needs. You can rely on Tommy and team to do a great job. I recently learned of Ted’s passing and was deeply saddened. I remember him from when I was little, and he worked with his uncle. Ted was an outstanding person and a pillar of the community. May he rest in peace."

"I have dealt with this outfit out of necessity but enough is enough. in addition to not being friendly their prices are astrofrigginnomical. I collect cars as a hobby so I'm pretty familiar with tow pricing. I was charged over $400 to tow a car a 30 minute distance. Thinking they made an honest mistake I entered the place to talk to owner. His response was an attempt to make me feel like I was nuts for questioning his prices. I get you can bump up bc you're in Livingston but that is outright abusive. the name should be PANICs bc that's what will happen when you get the bill."

"Can I give them ZERO stars? My car got impounded and I'm never going to get it back because of the amount of money they want for the daily storage charge, and now they won't let me get my belongings out of the vehicle. I have a $300 mattress a $300 TV $500 worth of tools in this vehicle because I just move back and the car got impounded. I understand I can't get the car out until I pay but I should be able to get all of my belongings out of the car. I feel this is theft."
