"I've suffered with tmjd since I was a teenager. I'm 42 now. Last year I had the worst TMJ flare up of my life. On a scale of 1 to 10 my pain was an 11 even though I was pounding down pain meds. I couldn't bite down so I couldnt eat. I had to be heavily medicated to sleep. I was miserable. I found Dr. Stein by reading these reviews and took a chance. He set me up with some splints I wear to sleep and some PT. It took a few months but Im happy to say im pain free. Like zero pain. Today I picked up my last orthotic. And while I probably will always have to do upkeep as this is a chronic disorder for me, it's now manageable and my quality of life has improved drastically.
