"Horrible and Rude. I seriously believe this guy has a mental illness. I went for a cleaning and his assistant told me to see him when he back from vacation in 2 weeks for follow up. Hey Dr. Clean get your office up to date before spending $ on TWO week vacation. I walked in after having major surgery for tmj. Not by him thank goodness. His rinky dink office that had been furnished in 1970’s had sofa’s with no spring left, and a bathroom from 1960! Gross. Old tile. The kind that doesn’t get clean after so many years. He asked me what I was doing back there when his hygienist specifically told me to get one tooth looked at by “Doctor “ when he returned from vacation. It was even creepy the way she kept referring to him as “Doctor” in conversation about 3 times. I told him, “because your hygienist said to”. He said “this visit is completely unnecessary!” Make me feel like I was at fault somehow for some communication error and told me to not waste his time! He still charged my insurance company!!! My head was completely spinning when I left his office after a waste of a 25 minute ride. Seriously, you do not know what you are going to get with this guy. I wish I read the reviews sooner. I’m a grown woman with a family. This man was rude, abrupt, dismissive, arrogant. I called my insurance directly my visit from my home to be sure to tell them he did nothing for me except look at one tooth. His actual hygienist actually called me on cell phone after her work was over to ask me if there was something wrong. Here I am having dinner w my family and she’s trying to ask me what was wrong, while eating dinner?! How unprofessional! Very creepy vibe. Stay away from this oddity of an office. I cannot emphasize this enough."
"Do Not Go to this Horrible Dentist! He’s a disrespectful, unprofessional and has Horrible bedside manner man!!! Now I find out he’s a thief too and billing for something he did Not do!! Went to his office ,with my non-verbal son, to my scheduled appt. Especially due to my son having a appt. with Dr. Dufour the following week! Now Have to file another case, to the Board of Dentistry, to tell them he’s a thief too!"
"Dr. Dufor is extremely rude. And the woman at the front desk Natalie is absolutely horrible at her job. I work 45 hours a week and Dr Dufor wouldn’t work on me because I had my AIR POD in. And then when I called to make another appt he was extremely rude. Do NOT go here. Also the office is nasty."
"I went to dentist Dufour last year in 2020 for dental cleaning since his name showed on my insurance as a network dentist. His office was only a few minutes away from my house., which was very convenient to me! I filled out multiple page inquiries regarding my health and allergies. His assistance came in and asked all those same questions including allergy that I answered already through the paper inquires. I said I already answered those questions. She went to the dentist. Dentist came in in a very hostile angry manner, and asked purposely same questions again. I answered the same questions and said I answered already on the paper. He got very angry and shouted to me to leave. I had to leave. I went back and said he had a duty to provide me a service as a patient. I was there only for cleaning. He had a very angry and hostile manner, refused to give me the dental service with loud hostile voice. There were 2-3 staff workers who witnessed the scene. I give him ZERO rating as a dentist. He has NO character to be a dentist and I believe that this man has a violent character."
"I have never felt so comfortable going to the dentist before coming to Dr. Dufour. I have medical/dental insurance through the state (NJFamilyCare), and for those unfamiliar, it is very difficult to find a doctor in network, and nearly impossible to find a GOOD doctor. Before coming to Dr. Dufour, I saw a local dentist, who left me in the chair for 45 minutes to talk to her friend before doing my cleaning. She told me I needed 2 fillings, which I did not have done with her because I didn't feel comfortable. Several months later, I received a $600 bill from her office for these non-existent fillings. I am so, so glad this happened, because that's the kick in the butt I needed to find a new dentist. Dr. Dufour and his staff are absolutely wonderful. They are organized and efficient, and I have never waited longer than 5 minutes to be seen (which is nothing short of a miracle in the medical world). His staff is friendly and professional, and do their best to make you feel at home. They explain every procedure before, during, and after so you are aware and informed of what's going on inside your mouth. Overall, Dr. Dufour cares about his patients, and does everything in his power to care for them, and teach them how to properly care for themselves."
