"In the past we liked Dr Brusco and his staff. However recently my family has experienced rescheduling appointments, billing and insurance mixups, a lack of help with a toothache when I wasn't able to come in due to family circumstances (thank you Teledoc!!) Most concerning is financial. They had me pay for service then took the insurance money as well. I still have not received a refund. Plus they want huge up front payments for service not yet rendered. To me that is a red flag. Very disappointed"
"I regularly get mailers/postcards from Dr Brusco. Specifically, a "New Patient Special" $89 for a Checkup, X-Ray and Cleaning. I do not have insurance so I have to pay for everything out of pocket. I needed a cleaning and a checkup so I made an appointment. Before my appointment, a filling broke off. Before the doctor came in, I connected with a nice dental hygenist that did my x-rays. Doctor came in, refused to give me a filling and told me that he would only do a Crown, for so and so reasons. I did not feel comfortable with this doctor. When he left the exam room, the hygenist told me "He works for you, you should tell him again that you want to do a filling"... She even told him this on my behalf as I did not feel comfortable and again, he was very intimidating and was not willing to fix my filling. He was trying to sell me on a $1,800 crown. I told them that I would go back if I changed my mind if I wished to move forward with the crown. Then they tried to reschedule me for the Crown treatment before I left and asked me to pay $500 towards my next appointment/the crown that I never agreed to. All the time, I was the only patient in the office. If he's been there for years and has such a high reputation, why is his office empty and constantly sending out mailers looking for new patients? Worst part.... The $89 new patient special was not honored. I was charged $130 for X-RAYS alone and the "exam". Did not receive a cleaning and was charged $40 additional than expected. I was so uncomfortable that I wanted to get out of his office as soon as possible I was willing to "Take the loss" on the cleaning... but why was I charged $130?"
"If I could have made it 0 stars I would. Paid up front for services never completed. 2 implants failed within 5 years. Save your money and teeth. Don't let his ads fool you."
"Front desk staff is the horrible. I stopped going there because the staff was beyond rude. I always paid after every session and never had a balance. They charged me for work that they didn't complete ! I never received a bill and now it's on my credit report. I'm calling Delta Dental today to complain."
