"If I could give this office negative stars I would. They placed my daughter in a straight jacket, removed teeth and placed spacers when she didn't even need them. I thought she just needed cavities and when she cried the doctor yelled at her and said he doesn't have all day. I left in tears sobbing and I feel guilty that I didn't stop the minute they strapped her down, but as a teen mom I didn't know better."
"This office is horrendous. They claimed my son had 5 cavities (second opinion on determines that was a lie) then when they found out we were leaving them for another dentist they refused to release my children’s documents claiming there was an unpaid balance (which documentation also shows was a lie). Also refusing to release documents is against the ADA regulations and ethics. Further more they continuously called and left HIPPA violating information on my voice mail for another patient! Go to Toothopia in Goshen, trust me you’ll thank me latter."
"Just awful. Had to wait for them to get my crown approved with insurance. Took 3 months, finally got it approved and I had to pay towards it, which is fine. Got the crown, was uncomfortable but I thought I’d get used to it. Few months later I get a bill from collections for like 2 grand because apparently insurance denied the crown (didn’t bother to call me or anything, just sent straight to collections). Called insurance, the office gave the wrong claim number to my insurance. Office was advised to submit another claim. Few weeks later I get another bill, so I call again. They say insurance refuses to cover the bill. I call insurance again, now they gave a wrong date of birth on the claim. Finally get this all straightened out, but they still hit me with additional $300 bill for god knows what even though I already paid into the crown coverage when I first got it. Oh and the icing on the cake? I had to get the crown replaced 6 months after getting it because they didn’t clean my tooth properly and a cavity developed under it. This new crown I got at the dentist office that actually knows what they’re doing felt so much better immediately. Avoid at all costs."
"My 4 year old had a very successful visit at Dr. Pak’s office. Him and his team were very accommodating to me and my child. The hygenist especially was extremely considerate and of my child’s nervousness and worked patiently with him. Our experience at Dr. Paks office was pretty awesome to say the least!"
"This was the worst possible experience both my children and myself have had with a medical professional. " Professional" is rather a big word for this dentist because he felt far from it. My 5 year old and my almost 3 year old have gone to our old dentist in westchester for two years. They have never ever had a problem sitting in chair for cleanings and have never had a cavity. We get here to this office only to be told that my 5 year old has 2 cavities and my almost 3 year old also has 2 cavities one of which he stated was a possibility of baby route canal. When I asked to see X-rays he was hesitant on having hygienist show me and almost seemed irritated that I even asked. I always follow my instant but for one reason or another I brought them back tonhave them filled. He of course wanted to sedate them even though I explained that I wanted to try without sedation considering they have done more then well at prior dentist office. The small thin hygienist there was an absolute brute and rude. I have no idea how in the world she works with children. Zero patience and used words like " hurt" and "stay still". If there were no recourse for slapping some sense into her I surly would have. Then in comes the " dentist" in a massive rush because apparently he was overwhelmed and overbooked. Another brute with horrible bedside manor. My smaller child sensed his frustration that she was scared and naturally became more anxious. I picked her up from chair and decided to end the session. He called me in his office to try and seal the deal and convince me that we should put her in basically a straight jacket. Well that didn't work either.. now she is terrified of going to the dentist. The simple solution was for hygienist and dentist to be just a bit nicer and comforting.. after all we are dealing with small children. I will be taking her another dentist for a second opinion as I have heard and read from other moms that he has misdiagnosed their children with cavities they never had! What an absolute shame."
