"This seems like a nice place and I've enjoyed talking to the employees in the past, but I can't recommend it for watches. A friend gifted me a watch with a metal bracelet from another branch, along with a service plan, and told me to bring it to my nearest JCP to get it fitted. I took it here the day after, they seemed stressed to be doing this service without the commission, and then had to give up because their tools were all in disrepair. If you find yourself in a similar situation as me, you can get the tools yourself online for less than the price of having a store do it for you, and it's a very simple, rewarding procedure. Otherwise, I'd prefer to buy a watch from a place I know will adjust and service it later, since a good watch will last you for decades and can be handed down to family members with different wrist sizes."

"This place should be SHUT DOWN. Couldn’t find more than 5 staff working in the store. When I found a guy working, he asked me to finish his “paper work” then he will assist me. End up knowing nothing about the stock. I asked if he can find me another staff, he ignored the question and said “if you can’t find it the the shelf, we don’t have it” while there is clearly stock available online. Only one cashier was open when there is a long line waiting forever. Typical signs of “we are about to shut down, sorry for the laziness but there is nothing we can do”. Lol"

"Talk about organized. This place is spotless. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the best thing is the salon. It's amazing the prices are great and they use good quality products. I highly recommend. It's for everyone women, children, men."

"Quite decent department store in Jersey City. It has entire 2 floors of clothes, bedding and small appliances. Everything is well organized. Agree with others on limited size choices on shoes - check out their online website for a fuller list. Apart from that it's not super crowded, staffs are nice, and the return process is smooth. Overall I enjoy it being conveniently located in Newport Mall."
