"I was really taken back when the girl on the phone said I couldn’t order wings with just bbq sauce they were a mix of hot and bbq and they were pre mixed. I thought how hard could it be to toss them in just bbq. Then I ate them. This wind sauce is so amazing I completely understand why they wouldn’t modify it and kept the integrity of the meal. It wasn’t too spicy or too sweet they were maybe the best wings I’ve ever had in Mahopac and I’ve lived here for years. The mozz sticks were great too! Lesson be learned sometimes the customer isn’t always right, this was an amazing football Sunday snack and I’ll be going back… weekly lol"
"They only serve individual size pizzas, which doesn’t work for everyone. My onion and pepperoni was tasty but the crust was soggy. My wife’s gluten free toppings were very good but she didn’t find the crust good at all."
"I lived in the US for almost two years and every time I feel homesick Mario’s is the right answer! I’ve tried so many different pizza places but Mario’s is a 10/10. The quality of the ingredients and the pizza dough are amazing. To all my Americans friends, this is what an authentic Italian pizza should look and taste like! Mario sei il migliore."
"We have been living in the area for over 6 years. We have tried numerous pizzerias in the area. Mario’s is the best. No, it’s not traditional pizza but it is still the best. The dough is delicious, the ingredients are fresh, and it’s cheaper than everyone else. We normally order a large pie, a small specialty, and sometimes a sandwich from other places and easily spend close to $80. For $95, we ordered 3 beers, 4 pies, and a piece of chocolate cake. We will definitely be returning."
"So this place is okay, not bad, but not fantastic either. The ingredients are fresh but the pizza itself was meh. Ordered 5 pies, because of the glowing reviews and was hoping this would be our new go to pizzeria in the area. We did spend about $75 bucks on pizza and would gladly have shelled out that kind of money all the time but cause it was just alright we can continue to spend less on a couple of large pies at so many of the local pizzerias in the area."
