"The food was just amazing! It’s not often that I am truly and utterly savoring a first bite but Lilia had me on a couple of dishes. The wine was fantastic and exactly as described by the friendly and cool staff. They make a fantastic Negroni too. I would come back to New York just for this l!!"
"How to get a reservation: check Resy if there aren’t any available, find the date you want and click notify me. I called and they found a spot that day but the Resy gets you on stand by. The display and vibes of Lilia is top notch. Service is the best, the waiters make every dish sound phenomenal! The food was good but in my opinion overrated. We went for my wife’s bday! She was really excited! The waiter was the best, he made every dish we asked about more appealing. We got prushutto, mozzarella app, the jewel salad for apps. All of it was great. Our main, the Mafaldini and the Ricotta gnocchi were good but we had really high expectations. Wifey wasn’t a fan of the Mafaldini she felt like it didn’t have enough flavors so we swapped. The deserts were amazing!!! The olive oil cake and the fancy lemon ice. They are known for olive oil ice cream but the machine was being repaired. They gave a candle for her bday over all great experience!"
"I was trying to get a reservation at this place for over a year. But our experience started off a bit negative when the host told us we only have 1.5 hours to eat as soon as we walked in. The waitress spilled the wine to the table.. And the interior was nice but too loud. The food was great, good combination of seafood meat and veggies I would say. We shared 4 plates and all were 5/5 especially the scallops and artichokes."
"In my seasoned culinary exploration spanning over a decade, I recently indulged in the epicurean delights at Lilia, a distinguished Italian establishment in Brooklyn. Awarding them a well-deserved 4 stars overall, my gastronomic journey was a symphony of flavors, though with a few nuances. The culinary prowess at Lilia is undeniable – each dish an ode to exquisite taste. The artful plate swapping showcased their commitment to presentation, yet the service left me yearning for a touch more warmth. Securing reservations proved akin to a culinary quest, an enigma I couldn't quite decipher given the availability of equally stellar options in Brooklyn. Navigating their extensive menu, the cocktails earned a respectable 4 out of 5 stars, complementing the overall experience. The artichoke left me ambivalent, but the mozzarella with bread was an enchanting prelude to the pasta perfection that awaited. The ricotta gnocchi, a celestial revelation, and the fettuccine spicy lamb, a spicy symphony of flavors, elevated my lunchtime sojourn. Remarkably, the prices were more palatable than anticipated – a $180 expenditure for two, encompassing 2 starters, 2 entrees, 3 cocktails, and a solitary beer. A fair investment for an exceptional culinary odyssey. Yet, my culinary curiosity is piqued by the elusive nature of their reservations. A paradox, considering the establishment's undeniable allure. The staff, while proficient, could infuse a tad more amiability into their service, transcending the realm of culinary mastery into a truly convivial experience. In conclusion, Lilia's gastronomic tapestry is woven with brilliance, marked by superlative dishes, though not without its reservations—both in securing a table and the service ethos. A culinary haven that beckons with tantalizing tastes, albeit wrapped in a veil of reservation mysteries."
"After a beautiful day exploring Williamsburg, we stopped in to Lilia without reservations but our fingers crossed tightly, hoping for the best. We waited a quick 45 minutes & were then guided to our seats at the bar. Red wine was of course our pick paired deliciously with the pasta dishes. Dessert was an olive oil cake & cappuccino. Delicious & fresh pasta is always a good time"
