"If I could give it a zero I would. Walked the woman there had her back turned to me. Never acknowledged me and called for another woman ,who had a look on her face as if I'd had insulted her mother. I walked out and will never consider spending my money there. Figures why the place is empty. Not one customer in the place."

"The food is really good. I had the pulled pork with onions on top, rice and beans & black beans. Pork was very tender. Only issue was the portion. You get a nice amount of rice but not enough meat. I had to order a side of the pulled pork. Also everything was charged separately. Usually when ordering this meal everything comes as one order. Everything was charged separately down to the fried plantains, which I didn't want to begin with. Besides that the food was good. Will go back to try something different, maybe get more meat this time."

"Last time ate here 13 years ago and did not come back because the food was very salty and did not taste authentically fresh. Showed up 13 years later to give it another try it was my girl’s birthday and I did not want to cook. No way am I ever coming back Nope! Dominican food in NYC tastes waaaay better! . Not here in Farandula. The food tastes worse. Tastes cheaply under seasoned and very salty. Is this the only ingredient they believe in to make food taste good? I’m a Spanish cook no way this food should taste like this I need to open up my own restaurant and take their customers. . I had rice pigeon peas and it had no taste except salt and tasted like they used canned pigeon peas. Not fresh pigeon peas which make the rice more flavorful. Chicken stew had no potatoes nor carrots. Chicken cooked with the skin on was disgusting as I was peeling this greasy soft skin out of my plate. It tastes like cooked chicken in its own fat. looked greasy with water and tomatoes sauce with green peppers and onion as if it was boiled into the greasy sauce. Yuk! Disappointed with the taste meh. White rice was undercooked and hard and when asked to add beans they drowned rice with all the sauce of from the beans.Again beans extremely salty. I asked them to make my plate over again and and they looked at me with an attitude as if I was crazy to have asked for a plate the way I wanted it. I took it that way as to not start an argument and warned the server to not make my second plate that way. Took the food home. I no longer had white rice and beans. It now was rice soup with beans. Meh! Totally disgusted the beans was blood pressure salty city. Please customers who suffer from high blood pressure do not eat here. I rather cook my own food home then come back to this. Never ever going to come back in this lifetime. Not worth it!"

"I am extremely outraged by what I received from this place. First of all I ordered a platter of potato salad to feed about 15 people. According to them that would cost $90! Super expensive but unfortunately I needed it right away and I couldn’t find any other place that would do it same day. I sent my daughter in to pick it up and when she comes out they had given her this super small pan and I couldn’t believe this could feed 15 people. We get to the party and sat the tray down and when I opened the tray i literally had received a platter of carrot salad. There was huge pieces of carrot tossed with a few tiny potatoes and mayo. This was disgusting and i will never go there again."

"I love coming here. The food is cheap and great. They are not stingy with the food and give you a lot so your getting food worth the money. This is the only place I’d go for any Dominican/latino food. The only thing I will say that other reviews are saying is that everyone speaks spanish, but what can you expect it’s a dominican restaurant, they aren’t going to speak only english."
